Love Mo Willems Books!

My kids have loved the Mo's other books, but I thought these Elephant & Piggie books might not have the same appeal...Not So! My daughter continues to pick these books over and over again (and loves finding the hidden bird on the last page!). Would highly recommend!

Super fun travel book!

The elephant and piggie books are the best! They are a good read. There are great illustrations and stories! I bought a book for my grandson to understand what far away meant and why he wasn't seeing me as often as his other grandparents. I mapped out the roads from his house to my house and included a copy of a map of the east coast. It was folded up in the page where the characters talked about it. Buying a little one is worth it.

I adore the Elephant and Piggie books. I've been reading these books to my son since he was a baby. The Pidgeons can be seen in all the books in our interpretations. Short reads with substance and wit are what they are. Let's Go for a Drive is a peak in the world of Elephant and Piggie.

The book is cute and entertaining. Preschool and grade school readers are interested in the story. It is easy for a first grade reader. I would have liked to have bought two so I could keep one at my house. I will buy more books for myself and give as gifts.

Great for beginning readers and funny!

I bought this for a student who doesn't have books at home. He likes this series! The 3rd graders liked the humor of the 1st grade level. The author uses repetitive words and phrases that are helpful to beginning readers but keep the story moving and interesting. The illustrations depict the emotions of the characters, giving new readers additional context clues. I plan on buying more books for a family member's child when she starts reading when I recommend Mo Willems books for beginning readers.

This is a great gift for a child. Mo Willems is a wonderful children's author and this book is wonderful. I am a teacher and a grandmother. Buying a book for the little ones in your life is a good idea.

Really cute pig and elephant addition

I got this for my 2 year old since he loves cars. There is no car in the book. They spend the whole book gathering supplies to go in a car, but realize they don't have a car. The story line is cute and funny, and my kid enjoyed it. The pig and elephant books are long, but only have a few words per page. It is a good book for children to start learning to read.
