Good and basic for young students
Good for young students. It has the beginning pieces for independent hand-work, but it doesn't overwhelm the students with too much at once. The pieces in the new book are more interesting than in the previous books, which helps me to keep the students interested in practicing.
The smooth progression of the piano method is perfect for my granddaughter. She now lives 2000 miles from the teacher. I bought a performance book for her and a basic method book for myself.
   Great book!
My daughters didn't like practicing piano until they got Technique books. The songs are fun and different than the boring books I used to read.
   Big Fan
I like the books in this series. My oldest son's piano teacher started him on these when he was young, and I find that each song develops something slightly different from the last, and the songs themselves are usually interesting enough to keep the attention. The series is enjoyable and effective at the same time.
   Great piano series!
The piano series is very good. This series has been used for four years by our three children. It's easy to follow. What more can a parent and teacher ask for?
   My daughter loves this book.
A great piano book. Concepts are taught in a fun and easy way. My daughter's love for piano has increased. She practices in her free time without being told. The book was great.
Good book for student already receiving instruction
A friend of mine teaches piano and recommended this to me. It is a good book for a student who is already receiving instruction. I was looking for basic piano key labeling and a hand chart, but this didn't have it. A nice book, but too advanced for someone just sitting down to play the piano.
   Good book
The book was in good condition. The daughter is learning to play the piano. If I didn't already have it, I would buy it for my other kids.
   Perfect for beginners or kids
My daughter started playing piano a few months ago. For extra practice, we bought the books. Songs are easy to read and learn. My child is 8 years old if that gives you an idea on how easy it is.
Great series. Fun performance songs that are good for recital
I love the Faber series. They delay the introduction of eighth notes too much. My students have a hard time picking up eighth notes.
