In the book of Ephesians, Paul reminds us that Jesus longs for the day he will be united with the church--his bride in all her beauty. Paul's letter celebrates the beauty of the church. Ephesians gives us wonderful examples and basic overviews of a Christian life. Paul shows us how to walk worthy of Christ as we live our life for God. Paul's focus on the beauty of the church reminds us that through salvation we become a part of God's family: a place where we can experience true belonging.

I love the fact that this is from the Bible, not just a commentary. There are passages at the end of each chapter to increase your knowledge.

Great lesson to give you a different perspective on yourself and life

I have chosen this book for our studies. I belonged to a church that my Christian mentor keeps encouraging me to come back. This book has opened my eyes to my close-minded brain so far. I learned a lot of things about myself and different ways of looking at my church family. That is the best feeling to know.

I am not a real fan of Max Lucado, but this is a very good study. While giving you some great background, the author also offers thought questions that allows you to become part of the study.
