   Gorgeous illustrations
There is a great moral to the story of helping others. My 2-year-old wants to read this book every night and has begun reading to me. He loves blue trucks so much that he's obsessed with them everywhere. My mom friends love them.

   Favorite of my son and mine
The entire family has been reading this book. We started reading it to my son around 18 months ago and he still enjoys it. It is my go to present for all young kids, as well as the Little Blue Truck Goes to the City. Great illustrations, great rhythm to the words, and a great story about good will and helping others. I love this book.

   So good I have it memorized
My son is a big fan of this book. He received it as a gift from a friend when he was 7 months old. It was his favorite from the beginning. He loves it so much that I have it memorised and when he starts to freak out in the car or at night, he will listen to the rest of what I have to say.

   Should be Required Reading for Toddlers and PreSchoolers!!!
My kids love this book, it's been three years since we bought it. I bought it for my two youngest children, 18 months and 3 years old. It was a hit when they were young, and is still a hit now that they are 4 and 5. It was easy for the kids to memorize because of the great cadence. They like to hear the animal noises while I read with them. The sequel and Christmas Little Blue Truck books are also excellent. The construction of the board book is really good, even though many people are only interested in the quality of the story. The book has not fallen apart despite hundreds of readings because of the weight of the pages.

   Great book. Most of the books my daughter has ...
The book was great. Some of the books my daughter has have no words at all. Even though my daughter can't talk yet, I find it boring to look through such books. It's nice to have a story to tell. This one keeps her interest for about 1 and a half to 2 reads. I don't get all the way through the others before she does. I don't find myself getting bored with reading it 5 times a day because there's more in there than 8 pages. It is a nice message. She's learning a lesson about friendship because she's learning about the sounds that animals and trucks make.

   Grampa loves reading this!
I probably give my grandchildren more than the next one. I try to get them good stuff, but a lot of the time it's money that's out the window. After 5 minutes, it's thrown in the corner and forgotten. Not this book. I feel good giving my grandson this. He loves it, he's one and a half. It's a book of cuddles and reads. The author wrote a sweet little story about working together and not being high handed. She has a nice rhythm with the poetry. There is just enough of a ratio of words and pictures. The artwork meshes with the text. And, yeah! I get to make animal noises. If I were Bill Gates, I'd see that every boy got one after delivery. It's good.

   My son has learned so much from this book, that I once considered "just a book"
I love to read this book to my son. The pictures are captivating, the story is fun, rhymes and has a lesson on kindness, which helps children to count to 3. I thought it was cute and heard good things about the book. I once considered just a book, because my son has learned so much from this book.

   Great story
The book has a lot of rhyming text. There is a nice message. The illustrations are pretty. My three year old and one year old both love it. The board book we have is larger and more sturdy than other books on the market. I've bought more as gifts.
