   Read It and Roughhouse
Among the board books, this was far and away my son's favorite. He started showing an interest in particular books at around nine or ten months, and the physical actions described in this book made it very fun for us to read, Mrs Hughes said. I would hop on my son's lap and he would run wild. Even before he was talking, he quickly learned to recognize the words and pictures of this book, and would clap when we turned to the page. We wore a board book. It's just that the Beatles are not the only band to change their name. Like the other Dewdney books, the rhymes are cute and catchy, making it easy to catch and keep your little one's attention.

   Super cute and fun for my 22 month old
I'm a former teacher who has a master's in literacy. You have to actually do the sounds in the book and not just read them monotone, my Mother-in-law said. My son thinks it's hilarious and I have bought a few other Anna Dewdney titles. It's great to hear your child say "boo!" to the monkey.

   Not worth the buy. Boring and extremely lacking.
There is no such thing as a free lunch, Mr. Rule told the judge. It popped up in my search for a "Easter themed" book, but it has nothing to do with Easter. Only 3 Star Review. It would have been returned had no one claimed it.

This book is very much like Llama Llamacy-Zoom in style and meter, and the 1 year old I bought this for LOVES that book so I am confident she will love Hoppity-Hop as well.

   Shorter than expected, but super cute
I'm only giving 4 stars because I expected this to be along the lines of Llama Llama Red Pajama, but this is significantly shorter and has very few words per page. It's a very cute book, and I recommend it to my daughter.
