Marc Ryder is a special agent for a little known government agency, Defense Foreign Liaison (DFL) and is assigned to their regional office in Long Beach, California. Ryder's job takes him to Frankfurt, Monte Carlo, Puerto Vallarta, Moscow and into the world of international shipping in the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. It is there, while aboard a Soviet ship that he meets a beautiful Afghan woman who captivates his attention. She tells him she wants to live in America and that she has information for the American police. She does not tell him she is fleeing from the clutches of her drug smuggling brothers in Montenegro. She and the ship leave before Ryder can see her again. On a trip to Moscow, Ryder is by chance re-united with the Afghan beauty and becomes acquainted with a Chechen taxi cab driver who is part of an Afghan drug smuggling ring. Ryder's personal life is falling apart as his wife becomes involved with a drug dealer in Huntington Beach, California who is supplied by a Panamanian cartel. Ryder describes his relationship with his wife as married, but not. Single, but not. His wife takes him to a party hosted by the drug dealer and he is seduced by the drug dealers tantalizing Panamanian wife. The FBI comes up with some explicit photos of Ryder in a compromising situation and recruits him to assist in their investigation of the drug dealer. The drug dealer Read More chevron_right
