Book Overview

A Lil' LIbros Bilingual Picture Book

Introduce your little one to one of the oldest games of chance, Loteria, as you teach them their first English and Spanish words Learn el gallo (the rooster), la luna (the moon), el coraz n (the heart), and more.

Unable to find bilingual first concept books she could enjoy reading to her baby, Patty Rodriguez came up with the idea behind Lil' Libros. Patty and her work have been featured in the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, CN Latino, Latina Magazine, Cosmopolitan, People En Espanol, Cosmo Latina, and American Latino TV, to name a few. She is currently Sr. Producer for On Air With Ryan Seacrest-iHeartMedia, jewelry designer for MALA by Patty Rodriguez, and creator of Manolos And Tacos.

Ariana Stein, a graduate from California State University, Dominguez Hills, has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Ariana spent the first eight years of her professional career in the corporate world. Her life changed with the birth of her baby boy. She immediately realized that bilingualism played a very important role in his future, as well as the future of other children.

I can stand the book up so its a great incentive for tummy time
The illustrations are colorful and cute. My 6 months enjoys when I really turn this book to her because it is easier for her to enjoy the pages. I can stand the book up so that its a great incentive for tummy time.

   Basic book
I know that this is a book of first words, but it is too basic for my 20mo old. I reverted it ASAP.

   Great learning tool
This book loved. Another should be written for the rest of the cards. I teach my 3 year old great granddaughter all the words. She loves to play the game, but I don 't want to keep translating for her, like I do for my teen granddaughters.

   Cute and nostalgic
I have now purchased this three times for baby showers. My 2 year old also loves it. Reminds me of the loteria game I played growing up in.

   Perfect Bilingual Picture Book
Love patty '''s books! So happy that I am able to find great bilingual books for my baby girl. The pictures are so colorful and very appealing to the little ones. We also have the Selena. The book is very good, which is very sturdy when my baby squirms it a bit.

   Lil’ Libros
My mother is bilingual and wants my daughter to be as well. We play loteria all the time as a family at get togethers and even when my great grandfather was around. The teaching of my daughter is extremely important to us and I am glad that I can teach her the cards.

I am such a fan of these books! My ...
My husband and I had been looking for board books to teach our toddler to read about his heritage. When we finish reading the book, he wants to read it again. Thank you so much for creating content in the often forgotten market of bilingual children's books!

   Absolutely love these books
Absolutely '' Love these books! It is so hard to find bi-lingual books and I am glad that this book company fills this gap. My niece loves them and I feel so happy to give her something that also speaks to our culture. My main wish is that they had more than first words type books. At this point, my niece is looking for short - story books so that they come out soon with a line!

   Adorable
This is a baby book... using a word per page. It is cutesy for small children under the age of five. A five yr old learning sight words can read it. I think it '' is beautiful and oh so adorable. I have purchased 8 of these books to give them as gifts. Now I want to relive them all for my future children.
