I love this book with my toddler. A white family with a dad, a mom and 1-2 kids is what most books are about. I think it's important to show children from diverse families and even more to give them a chance to find themselves in a book, because not every family looks like that.

My toddler loves this book. He enjoys looking at the illustrations and talking about the different families. Simple enough for young children to enjoy. There are some parents who are not feminine or masculine. Highly recommended!

My wife and I have bought our girls a few books, but this is our favorite. Our 7yr old was being picked on by classmates for having two moms and no dad, but was able to find comfort in this book and her teacher even read it to the class to show love IS what makes a family.

The book is very sweet. I think it's important to show all types of families, for kids to know more about the world and how different families do things. I was pleasantly surprised by the book. The reviews were angry at two men in the bed. Look at the picture. They are dressed in their PJs and portraying a scene that happens for most families. The only offensive thing in that picture is how small their bed is.
