Sweet idea, but a bit overboard
#1, no son wants to be called a baby, especially as he ages. Parent wanting to be more of a friend than a parent with ungrateful youth taking full advantage. But it appears to pay off in the end here, if only it were more the case in real life.

A love letter to and for all Moms
This book will forever hold a dear place in my heart. My mother started out reading it to me when I was very young, and as I learned to read we began reading it together. I'm not a very emotional person, but I am a momma's boy. This story is so sweet and now that my own
Mother has passed; to this day is something I still pick up when I want to remember her. This book brought her to tears every time we read it and now tears me up when I do.

   A mother ‘s love
This book is about the love of a mother for a child growing up. It is a beautiful, heart-warming story. A beautiful gift for a baby shower, or a growing toddler.

   Creepy!
Is this book just too weird for me? The illustrations of the mom crawling into the bedroom and then driving to rock the grown man to sleep... I threw it away because I didn't want to bother returning it.

I won't be reading this to my grandbaby.
I apologize. The book is weird. I can't read it. It's fine until you get to the part where a grown woman straps a ladder to her car so that she can break into her son's house and rock him to sleep. WT#??? I can't understand how this book is one of the highest rated books. Hopefully people in the free library will enjoy it.

   Get the tissues before reading....
For a long time, I didn't know the real meaning of the book. My oldest boy is 14. I have been reading it for a long time and have two kids as well. I cry every single time. Each time. I bought it for my friends who were expecting. I hope it does the same thing to them as it did me.

Still amazing after all these years
This book is in my heart and will stay there forever. When I was young, my mother began to read it to me, and as I learned to read, we began to read it together. I'm not very emotional, but I'm a mother's boy. My mom and I sign our holiday and birthday cards with "I' ll love you forever, I' ll like you for always, as long as I'm living my you' ll be" on it. Two decades later, I have a daughter of my own who just turned one. I bought the book again because I couldn't find the copy I used to have. I read through it when I received it to see if it was still as amazing as I remembered it being. I'm not a very emotional person, but about 34 of the way through the book my voice began to break, and I had to take pauses to wipe my eyes. It will always be amazing.
