Talking about chopped heads in any form is not proper for kids book in my opinion
Derived From Web , Feb 10, 2021
I read good things about this program so I decided to get it for my son. I take a look at the passage and see how the 8th Henry chopped heads! And picks of heads chopped off. Could this fact of history be kept out of a children's book? Act of chopping heads is no joking matter nor should it ever be turned into a punchline for a children's book. Heads are also cut off in a scene later in the book. The Harrisons' lawyer, Paul LiCalsi, said: "There is no logical basis for a young reader to imagine such a thing." It's just that teachers recommend it.

Funny, easy read

My 8 year old and even 5 year old love the Mac books. The stories are all set in 1989, with a bit of a mystery, and the writing is great. I highly recommend these books to 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders. We have already finished the second and plan to get more.

When my 7 year old grandson opened the book, he jumped and screamed with joy. It is very popular with his group of friends, so he was happy to have it and couldn't wait to start reading. Great customer service, said Bill, "and delivery was excellent."

Great for 1st grader
Derived From Web , Jun 22, 2019
I hope these books will continue to sell well. We're so excited to be working with Warner Bros. Pictures again, and we can't wait for #3. In a world where we often complain about the lack of interaction with the characters and places around the globe, I love the opportunity to have side conversations about the Mona Lisa, the KGB, Paris, London, Russia, etc. Most importantly, the books are laugh-out-loud funny to a first grader, and I hope that fun books like this will, I hope, instill a continued love of reading. I've had my 1st grader absolutely love these books.

Excellent book! Review from 8yr old

My son and his friends are going to college. Better storyline and grammar than Captain Underpants series of novels. This was a present for a 2nd grade classroom.

A book that beat out my daughter’s iPad!
Derived From Web , Dec 7, 2018
My daughter, who is a beginning reader, finished the book in 3 days! She loved it, the show's creator and executive producer, said. I found her giggling frequently while reading this book, and she wouldn't put it down unless prompted. I wanted to say a huge 'Thank you' to the author and illustrator, because I believe you have changed my daughter's life! It's great to be back home, said Blair.

My son read this by choice!
Derived From Web , Nov 9, 2018
My son absolutely loved the book. He's a challenged reader and not one to read unless instructed to do so by an assistant. Every night after the book came, I found him in his room reading. He really liked the quirky humor and situations in the story, Mr. Rule told the judge.
