Is not what I expected, but I have enjoyed reading tremendously about their love story and their lives. I give it four stars because of the lack of pictures in the book. But is a beautiful story!

   Not what I expected 👎🏻
I bought this book immediately after seeing the announcement on her Instagram. What I expected was a beautiful coffee table book of her works and maybe some tips. Instead, I got a written book with no pictures on interior design. From flipping through the book, it appears to have been written by both her and her husband as well as by her husband. I didn 't take the time to explore this, but it seemed odd as well as I understand that he handles the business aspect. I decided to return the book ''.

   This is far better than the typical “coffee table book”
I'm surprised at the amount of negativity in reviews is left behind. However, I am not surprised that those who purchased the book with no intentions of actually reading also didn 't take the time to read the description of the book before purchasing it. The book was advertised with a very clear and accurate depiction of its contents, which I found delightful so far. Thank you Shea and Syd for being genuine and sharing your story. I have no doubt that many more positive reviews will follow and overshadow the rest.

   No Pictures of their work. Reads more like a novel.
I am like the other reviews to open the book and find there are no pictures. I calculated that Studio McGee is an interior design firm. This book would be full of pictures of their work. I'm disappointed and bummed.

Shea is a very talented designer and I bought this book hoping for some inspiration for design! Surprise, no pictures, no designs! It is not that it is a bad book ; it is just not what I expected and not what I needed!

   Incredibly Disappointing
This book is small, printed on cheap paper and there are no images. This is not at all what I expected. The McGees are all about visual presentations, but there are none in this book. Honestly, a waste of money-don't bother.

Oh, man... '' I had really high hopes for this one. Because I absolutely love the studio McGee! I hope to receive lots of design inspirations..., but unfortunately it is not for the visual like me. I just watch her design inspirations on Netflix.
