Mama Bear Apologetics Guide To Sexuality: Empowering Your Kids To Understand And Live Out God's Design is 272 pages long.
Every Christian needs to read this book!
Derived From Web , Dec 25, 2021
I heard about this book on a show and thought I would check it out, even though I am not a mother yet. When my students come to me with questions about sexuality, I thought I could teach them nuggets of wisdom. I didn't know I'd end up with a sleuth of knowledge. I learned a lot from this book. The authors present the information in a way that is easy to understand and consume. This book is more than just Mama Bears, it's for every adult Christian who has teens in their lives who trust them and confide in them. Go read this!

Deceptive title co-opts LGBTQ+ allies' "Mama Bear" name
Derived From Web , Nov 11, 2021
Rather than empowering parents to teach their children to love Jesus, it teaches them to perpetuate harm. It co-opts the Mama's Bears trademark name. I would recommend visiting the Mama Bear's website instead of reading this book. If you are a Christian who actually cares about supporting LGBTQ+ youth, you should visit Jen Hatmaker's or read Torn by Justin Lee.

Much needed resource!
Derived From Web , Oct 6, 2021
The Mama Bear Apologetics Guide to Sexuality is a great resource for anyone who wants to teach their children about sexuality and gender. They present relevant research and examples through the lens of the Bible in an engaging and no nonsense style. The authors approach sensitive subjects with Christlike compassion and hold them up to the light. They give advice on how to dismantle the dangerous messages kids are exposed to while at the same time lovingly engaging people who have been taken captive by those ideologies. Parents and kids will be able to live out God's design for sex with this book.

A Must-Read! Never heard the Christian sex talk framed this way!
Derived From Web , Oct 5, 2021
The way this book framed the talk has never been heard before. I mean.... It's seriously. I knew how to save it for marriage when I was a child. I was confused when I first encountered temptation. There was confusion, rationalization and justification. I wanted to honor Christ and I did. I felt guilty every time I messed up. I wondered why I felt guilty. I didn't understand it. How far is too far is spelled out in a Bible verse, but I couldn't find it. And all the questions. The wait till marriage thing made no sense when I was engaged. This book would have helped a lot if I had read it back then.

Helps Equip Us as Parents
Derived From Web , Oct 5, 2021
This is a hard topic that most people don't like to talk about. With all the confusion and pressures being thrown on our kids from our culture, we cannot be passive and sit by. The Mama Bear Apologetics Guide to Sexuality shows us how to talk with our kids about topics that are hard to discuss with them. When our kids will have questions and we need to be educated with the foundation of God's Word, it's become not a if. It will be difficult to read, but it is necessary.

MUST READ!!!
Derived From Web , Oct 5, 2021
The book is a must read for anyone that has contact with kids, teens and young adults. After reading this book, I feel more prepared for future conversations with my kids about these topics. Our young ones are being bombarded by secular ideas and as Christians we need to wake up and arm ourselves with knowledge. If we want to help our kids learn how to navigate our world while remaining strong in their faith, this book is an excellent resource to use. The authors navigate tough topics with grace and love. I highly recommend this book.

A must-read for parents. Expertly presented.
Derived From Web , Oct 5, 2021
It was a wonderful read on its own. Hillary and Amy thoroughly unpack the lies within the culture's messages on sexuality that are targeting and damaging kids starting at an extremely young age, and provide tips on how to teach our kids to spot them on their own. They do it in a way that is very factual and winsome. Don't wait to read this book.

Important for parents!
Derived From Web , Oct 5, 2021
The book is helpful in understanding where culture is concerning sexuality and what children are being taught. This book is needed by anyone involved in teaching or parenting. The first Mama Bear book was about destroying arguments, not people. Hillary and Amy do a great job of pointing out the truth in love. Highly recommended.
