Another wonderful book by Jennifer Ward

Another wonderful book by Jennifer Ward is published. The rhyming nature of all her books makes them a fun read. Hats off to her illustrator, who does a fantastic job of interpreting the story's action and making it alive.

Great but simple explanation of nest types and birds.
Derived From Web , Jun 27, 2020
This is a great book for 3rd year students and up. I read this book on the google classroom for our preschoolers over covid school closure. Before reading the book aloud, I prepared and talked about many different types of nests and bird figures that I had read and finished with reading the book. On a page, simple reading for a child is to hear or read. On the opposite page the additional info is explained if you choose to explain further. The photos are big and there are a wide variety of nest types.

The book is good but was damaged in transit. It is clearly readable, but at some point it was perfectly dented. Thankfully, it was not a gift.

Great Little Book For Little Bird Lovers
Derived From Web , Jan 29, 2020
Great little book that goes over the different kinds of nests that a mama bird makes for her chicks. Love that is has a very simple explanation on one side, and than more details on the other, which allows parents to choose the information that their children would understand. Highly recommended for any budding naturalists or just anyone in general who wants their children to have a better understanding of the natural world.

Easy to read to my three year old preschool class!
Derived From Web , Jul 3, 2018
Great story and fun illustrations! My students enjoyed learning about the different nests that birds created. Several students called me out when I didn 't mention the name of the bird on one of the sides! Very well worked as part of a unitary unit on nests during the letter N week.
