Such a sweet book and beautiful illustrations

I'm a huge fan of the illustrated book. It is a perfect length for babies and toddlers and has lots of rhyming text. I feel like it should be sung, Bernadette Peters said. I wish I knew if the author intended it as such and what tune it would be. I would recommend this book to any child, from infancy through 4 years, depending on your child's tastes and interests.

This book has the sweetest text and the most beautiful illustrations, Melissa said. Amazon gave the book five stars, but it arrived with a smashed corner. It was kept because my toddlers are still destructive with their books, even though they are now grown. It would be a great present for a new mom.

This was one of the very first books I bought for my son and the first book I read when he came home from the NICU. Now he's one and a half, and loves books, all I have to do is say the first line of the book and he runs off to find it, so we can read it.

Beautiful illustrations and the sweetest words

A picture book about how a Mama loves her baby. I started reading this to my daughter when she was very little so probably part of the reason she likes it so much is because it's so familiar, but this is definitely a book she still loves to 19 months old. It has been a great baby shower gift as well!

I got this book for one of my best friends who is pregnant and has a baby on the way. We have been on a few out of state hikes together, so this book seemed like the perfect present for her new baby. The words are so simple but so touching, I almost could just burst into tears, because I'm so happy for her. Both are great books with beautiful cover and high quality pages. If you get it, you wont regret it.

The book is a delight, and I cannot stop reading it. The lovely illustrations are reminiscent of old-timey quilts, and the sentiment is sweet and it's repetative without being boring for Momma to read. Jennette Tamayo writes, "My daughter and I enjoy reading it in the mornings after she nurses."
