   Fantastic!
I'd give it 6 stars, if I could. A beautiful atlas, and truly appealing for any age. An amazing resource for my son. I believe this book will get lots of use over the years. Brand new, in perfect condition, Mr. D. Cowger said. This product is not a complete atlas. It cannot stand alone as an educational resource. However, as a children's introduction to maps, geography and culture, it's an inspired piece of work.

   Nudity
Because I'm writing this review, I wish more people would have warned against the nudity in this children's book. The Graco brand has helped my boys learn how to fold and cut paper. Thankfully my husband and I were able to flip through the book before handing it off to our children. The Web site also features numerous drawings of naked women by Japanese artist Ogata Noguchi. Even though Gloria Allred said she understands that this is depicting different cultures, she found it unnecessary and inappropriate for a children's book. After an hour of doing so, I could actually color pictures of busty naked women and strategically coloring over male genitalia. If I had known about this book, I would not have purchased it. It's a beautiful book, too, by Frank Stella. If you're concerned or sensitive to your children seeing drawn nudity then I would pass this book on.

   Beautiful
The book is a beautiful, witty satire of authority. It's great to see my 5yo enjoying it so much. I really enjoyed the illustrations, the book's writer said. There are aboriginals that wear no clothing, there's nothing wrong with that! about the book not showing every country in the world, well, I wish it did, because the book is so beautiful that one would never get tired looking at the drawings, yet if it did had all the countries it would be a rather difficult task to handle, added the writer. It would be great if they could make a book number 2 with more countries and a book 3 with more countries, too! Hint: This is a reference to the second part of the book. We love it, over all, Bruno said.

   Beautiful but lacking
It's an absolutely beautiful book and I have no regrets buying it, Graham said. Israel is not in here and Judaism originated in Israel and is one of the top ten religions in the world. Yes, Israel has a rich history. It's great to be back home, said Blair. Ireland is missing too, which is another one that I missed, and would have liked to see more of the action. The author did so much of the work herself that they might as well have just done all of the countries, and charged more for the book. Even if not everyone got a full page, I would've liked to see more African countries in here too!

Very educational but so much fun map.
Luckily, we found this original version in Europe trip, then brought it back to Hawaii. My girls, who also love it, and their school teachers also love it, so present to my friend often. Added some new countries to the database, making it possible to search by country. They added Chile and South Korea which are our friends lives in. Please enjoy to find something new with your kids.

It was the first time my 14 year old granddaughter saw it. She was thrilled to receive this present on Christmas morning.

   Fun and exciting
My six-year-old LOVES this book of maps. The book is big and sturdy, and the cover is also sturdy. It's a great book for young and old.

So many countries, like Ireland, are left out.
The other 97 countries are not included because of the treaty. I bought this to use as a supplement to homeschool our unit on Ireland, only to find out that Ireland isn't in the book. Realizing this, I flipped through the menus and came to realize that about half the world was left out. I don't feel like this is an accurate representation of the world. 0 3171616 3171578 This is very disturbing," said Dr. Shelby, who called the move "a huge overreaction." The illustrations are beautiful, but they lack the emotional connection that makes Mrs. Austen's novels so special. It would have cost me more money to have included all the countries. The Harrisons are very disappointed.

   Ages 4 to 104
It was my 82 year old mother who bought it for me. It's the go-to place for the grandkids and great-grandkids. My mother enjoys looking at it for memories of her travels with my dad, while the kids wonder what the future holds for us all.
