An Awesome book referred to me by The Daily Show With John Stewart. Only a graphic novel could provide such striking imagery. I plan on purchasing every book in the trilogy which shouldn't be too hard since, for me, it was a compulsive buy when I was broke and desperate. This book was recommended to me by a professor and I found it very enjoyable to read. The book had stunning visuals that really helped convey the feelings of the time period and the book was still historically accurate. The second book was also very good, and I will read it again.

   Very interesting
The story is very well told, but you are going to have to go back and forth between two different time periods. At times I struggled to tell the difference between those two periods. It was very informative about Lewis' early life and the beginnings of the civil rights movement, the writer said.
