These books are great for children. My 7 year old loves the books and this one is book 12 and has not disappointed. We prefer physcial over ebooks, as there is nothiking like relaxing with reading a good book.

   Great Series of books
These are great reads for younger kids who want to read short chapters, nice illustrations, character development, plot development. Al is in good fun. Name-calling, but other than that rather clean.

   Great!
I feel like it has pretty hard to find reading level appropriate books for my son, about which he gets excited. When I found these notebooks of Doom books, I knew I had a winner! He now has all but one in his collection. We started reading these together when he was in 1st grade, but then started reading them more on his own entering 2nd grade and is now entering 3rd and has been reading them 100% on his own for some time now. He connects with the characters and LOVES all the silly situations into which they get themselves into. I highly recommend '' these books.

Fun book series for grades 2-4
My 9-year-old LOVES the notebook of the Doom series. She read this book 3 times. The last year she was behind in her reading level. I really think that finding books she loved to read helped her improve her reading skills. There are human characters, and boy and girl monsters. Very creatively written ''.

My 6 year old boy loves these books!
My six-year-old boy loves these books! He asked me : Do you know who my favorite author is? I answer Troy Cummings, and he says it with a big smile! He also read the first 15 or so of the Magic Tree House books and likes them, but gets much more excited to read the notebook of the Doom series. He started to write one of his own notebooks of doom books... So this has definitely encouraged him to be more creative. The monsters are not that horrible, but the books made him a little nervous, and it was a good conversation starter for how monsters are not real and what it means to be bravecourageous.
