My Absolute Favorite

The books in this trilogy are my favorites. I would recommend it to everyone. Ms. Rivers makes the setting come alive. The early days of the Christian church are depicted in the books. The time period is coming to an end. I gained a new appreciation for the people who lived in that time. The books helped me examine how I am living out my faith.

The series was very good. I hope the characters have faith in the book. They were read on my wife's behalf. I have the audio version of the series. There are many details that are important to the character building in the abridged version of the point.
