   Great book
If you want great strength or testing of your faith, this is a must read. As Bible - believing followers of Christ in America, we sometimes forget how lucky we are to worship freely. Most take it for granted here in America and I ask myself if I would be willing to die for my faith. After reading this, i would be truly honored to lay my life down. Most importantly, it taught me to love and pray for those who pursue and tour me. God gave these martyrs the strength to endure pain, as if they did not feel it, and while they were put to death or imprisoned, they were praying hard for their tours that they would know Christ, because as soon as they passed they knew they would be with our Lord in Heaven.

   New Foxe's Martyrs
An encouraging volume to read really. Obviously, this is the point of martyrdom, dying heroically for Jesus. However, one I read at random before buying the book, sold it to me. A pretty girl sold herself and went for a long prison term and hung her fellow believers for a much reduced sentence. This was so honest that it convinced me to get it. Not everyone is a saintly plaster statue. And it also showed the kind of rusey anti-Christians used.

   Martyrs are our neighbors, family members, giving their all. i am humbled and blessed by each persons sacrifice.
Each person I wrote about in this tiny treasure encouraged me, broke my heart and drove me to share their stories. They completely surrender themselves to the Lord, who are strengthened by the Holy Spirit to trust and hang on the Father to the point of rejection by family, loved ones, mobs of angry people to the point of death to remain in Christ. Toby Mac and all the others who put these stories together thank you. i gave them to friends and continue to pass them on. Shanley, shirley is my favorite.

   God is good
Hard to believe that some of these stories are true, just the love that these martyrs have for their Savior. These stories make you question your own walk and faith in Christ and make you question yourself : not only would you give up material things for Christ, but are you willing to give up your life for the one who gave it up for you? I would rather die like Christ than live unholy.
