Disappointed
Derived From Web , Mar 19, 2021
I had high hopes for this study guide because I had heard so much about another one. If my husband ever does me wrong, you will never find the body, I promise you, I read page 90 for today's session. This tone is used throughout. A study guide for the life and love of Jesus is mockery. I don't want to read any more. This guide was a waste of time and money. You can get my copy if you want it, as I wrote my replies in a notebook and didn't write them in my copy. I was expecting more in the Bible study guide. She is trying to be funny but I don't like the humor in a Bible study guide.

Too fluffy, not worth buying.
Derived From Web , Jan 15, 2021
If the author stuck to a Bible study in the book, it would have been better. She inserts her casual, cutsie comments and funny little isms that take away from the Word. The videos are very short and uninteresting. It's not real meat, it's just Angie talking to the viewers. Not worth the time or money.

Not what I expected
Derived From Web , Jan 2, 2021
I' ve never done a study like this before, but I heard an extensive interview and decided to do it. I was very disappointed with the way she wrote in the first two weeks of the study. She is jumping around and making comments about her life that aren't related to the material. The way she addressed the reader seemed more appropriate for a teenager. She described people from the God's Word in a way that I almost felt like she was making fun of them. I am a leader in a Bible study and just a student. I would recommend other Bible study authors to you.

Disappointing
Derived From Web , Dec 26, 2020
This study was very disappointing. The author talks with random thoughts that have nothing to do with the study. If I could, I'd return the book.

Didn't flow well

I did not like the series. Her videos were messy and her writing was hard to follow. I didn't know what she was talking about half the time, as she jumped to unrelated topics so frequently. I didn't care for side tracking and random conversations. I' ve been told many women like her series. I am not one of them.

Not for new Christians
Derived From Web , Sep 27, 2020
I have never written a review before. Content is great if you know the Bible. This is not for new Christians. She is very fast paced and skips a lot. Before doing this study, you need to know the Bible. Not bashing just letting you know.

It's genuinely focused on helping believers grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

There is honesty. It's making you think about things that matter. It makes you look at your own motives and ideas.

Matchless

There is nothing to say. Some of the most wonderful, in depth sound studies of our time can be found by Angie Smith. This is a wonderful example. You will walk away from this study sad to be done and craving more.
