I'm a homeschooling mom and this book provided so much direction and many new ideas on how to teach my children math. It walks you through the research on math acquisition and then teaches you how to implement best practices through games and engaging activities. I recommend this book to anyone. A great deal of money can be made by selling stock, so why not?

Easy to read and apply in the class immediately

Just about everything about this book is perfect, except for the cover. It's so practical and easy to follow, even for the most seasoned practitioners. I wholeheartedly agree with Dr. Goin's position. Some may be more material-heavy than others, but I feel they are very reasonable asks that you probably should have in the classroom anyways dice, counters, etc. It's perfect for the multiple grade levels I help as an instructional coach. Thanks for the love.

This book is truly exceptional, said Dr. Goin. Games are fun, the ideas are brilliant, and this all works well with kiddos, said Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Everyone needs to know how to teach Fact Fluency
Derived From Web , Oct 25, 2019
As a Math Specialist I hear from teachers that students "don't know their facts." Rather than trying to cram as many math facts into a sixth-grade classroom, we should be moving toward a more historical approach to teaching.

Best Book on HOW to Teach Math Facts
Derived From Web , Sep 1, 2019
I'd recommend it to every elementary and middle school math teacher and most middle school math teachers. Math fluency is as core to math as reading, but it's lost in a lot of classroom. Dr. Williams guides how to teach math facts in a personalized, engaging way that will make those facts stick!
