   Great for the right person
We had to find a 16 year old that likes this type of books. We got some authorsbooks after we did a search online and he loved them. He was glad to get it because he had started to read one of them.

   Amazing Game-Changer
This will change your perspective on graphic novels and metafiction for people who don't know about Maus. Art Spiegelman is a master at telling a story and incorporating deeper elements than the actual story provides.

I was introduced to Maus by my freshman English professor ...
My English professor introduced me to Maus. I couldn't put the book down because it was part of our curriculum. It's a heartbreaking and emotional read, but has found a special place in my heart. I'm interested in purchasing and reading the sequel.

How do you interest 6 graders in the Holocaust? ...
What do you think about 6 graders in the Holocaust? It's a little heavy for 1112 year old kids but they can skip pages, put the book away and start again after they've talked to an adult about the things they've seen.

This a very important book. I wish everyone would read it.
My brother in law gave me the first and second books when I was 19 years old. It is a tough subject and it was not easy to read. I learned a lot about the holocaust that I didn't know before. The author's gift of sharing his lived experience with me and all readers was appreciated. I bought this book for my daughter when she was young. She is an advanced reader and she read it carefully. I recommend this book to anyone who would like to know more about what Jewish people have gone through due to hatred and intolerance and how to not allow history to repeat itself. Please allow us to never forget! It's!

   Literally NOT "banned"
The author must be laughing at something. The book was not banned. A book on the Holocaust is being put in a place for required reading after it was determined to be inappropriate for 1314 year olds. It was a big deal. If every book on the Holocaust that isn't required for 8th grade history class is banned, it doesn't mean anything anymore. If you don't mind exposing your child to nudity, profanity and cursing then this might be the Holocaust book for your child. There are many high quality books for early teens without cursing and nudity.

Those who ignore, bury, or ban history are doomed to repeat it.
An amazing book. I first read this book in school. It gives readers a first-hand look at what happened during the Holocaust. There is a mystery as to why certain people in America would want to ban this book.

Being Banned by Tennessee School Systems. Wake Up America!
The cutting off of voices and historical facts is how this wonderful graphic novel begins. We are allowed to read the novels, but everyone needs to.

   Great Book
The book was good. I learned a lot from it and it was very entertaining. This novel made history interesting for me, even though I am not much of a history buff. The product was in good condition. I don't have anything to complain about.
