Not much use beyond 2006

Although this manual states that it covers up to 2014, there is not much beyond 2006 in the way of specifics. In any particular category, the listing is 2006 and up to a range of specifications. I have a 2013 MX5 club addition and was looking for better illustrations than the 2013 technical manual, I have to redo the brakes. This covers more NC models than NA and NB. Seriously, consider sending back. Very disappointed in manual, as I have always bought one to go with my cars.

I was surprised that this manual had some of my PRHT Mazda NC's more esoteric features such as the assembly of the PRHT, dashboard and door panel removal. I would buy it again.

Pretty good manual, not as detailed as a factory service manual, but will get you through most process. If you own a Mazda MX-5, it is only a matter of time and a 100% chance that the POS breaks, this could save the weekend.

I used Haynes manuals on my Ford Ranger and to tear my Dodge Dakota to replace the gaskets. After buying a PRHT MX5 Miata in 2008, I figured I would get a Haynes manual for the Mach Five. I have not had a need to tear into anything serious. The oil viscosity chart on page 1-2 and the cylinder and coil terminal graphic on page 2A-1 have the same incorrect graphic. These graphics show the same cylinder firing order diagram, both of the same. I am still pleased with the instructions in my Haynes manuals and continue to use them.

An OK Miata repair resource for the money

For the price, it can help the DIY - enthusiast make a few basic repairs. It is a bit broad in its approach, trying to cover three generations of the Miata NA 1990-1997. 1999-2005 NB and 2006-2014 NC. The 2016 -- Present FYI generation ND is not covered at all.

Missing the convertible top section

The only reason I didn 't give this service manual all 5 stars because I think a section was missing. The 1990 -- 2014 Miatas have all convertible tops. A big part of the Miata is the interior. This section was mentioned as well as the hard top option was missing.
