A New Street with New Rules to Cooking
This cookbook is fantastic! I am 50 yrs old and have a lot of things I previously learned no idea about. It helps you to think outside the box really helps. It helps you get rid of the usual, daily dinner suspects. Most of us all get acquainted in our ways of cooking what is set. It is a routine. This cookbook made me think not only of different ways to prepare dishes, but also of multiple alternatives to the recipes we love the most. You know how to spice it a bit per say. I highly recommend this cookbook for the non-professional cooks, especially to the home cooks like Mom and Grandma. I know that my grandmother would have loved this book as well. Thank you Christopher Kimball for opening my mind to cooking with new rules, new ideas and new recipes and also to Imperfect Foods and all those food delivery options now available for giving me weekly options that I would normally never put on my grocery list.

Noone I know will eat this stuff
Nice photos, but 15 ingredients for a side dish? Eh, another loser cookbook unless you want hundreds of dollars in kosher ingredients and have several hours a day to do things like massage your Kale with odd salt before cooking. I seriously don 't know anyone who would bother to serve this bizarre stuff unless they are just bored or pretentious. Top it with the new rules : what all us old cooks have known for years, and you have just another Wannabe cookbook with wannabe followers.

Wow! Experienced Cook Finds Happiness in New Rules!
I just received Chris's book @ 835p.m. last night. I am impressed and very pleased ''. Here is why : Sturdy, elegantly bound, with a textured hard cover! Love the great bites of the rules are a short reference when you don 't want to read all the details! 3.) BEAUTIFUL photos of the recipes are shown. 4. ( cf. The recipes of AWESOME are delicious! I made nearly 34 of the book and I want to re-use nearly every recipe! At least 1 week a week and cook through the book. Of what I can think, any cons? If you are a little intimidated by foreign recipes and flavors, this MIGHT make you nervous. There are still some common pasta and meat dishes, carrot salad with a twist. Here is the gateway to more robust flavors! Terri is a beautiful, but largely unknown territory.

Excellent cookbook, well worth the price!
I have tried only three recipes, but they were all fabulous and I have already made all three twice. I don 't have the book at hand now so don 't have the exact names but they are tomato salad, mushroom omelet and spaghetti with cilantro pesto. All three were very easy to prepare. I also enjoyed all the new rules ''. I want to make the book all over again!

We enjoyed several recipes and all turned out well. We're hooked on the pasta with pistachios, tomatoes and mint... delicious! I like the format ''. Each recipe includes a rule and illustrates a beautiful explanation and a short photo.
