Book Overview

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of HEAT and TRAVEL TEAM.

Everyone calls Nate Brodie Brady because he's a New England quarterback, just like his idol, Tom Brady. And now he's got a chance to win a million dollars by throwing one pass through a target at halftime in the Patriots; Thanksgiving night game. More than anything, Nate's family needs the money--his dad's been downsized, his mom's working two jobs, and they're on the verge of losing their house. The worry is more weight than a 13-year-old can bear, and it's affecting his playing for his own football team. Suddenly the boy with the golden arm is having trouble completing a pass . . . but can he make the one that really counts?

   A great book
Mike Lupica is my favorite author because most of his books are about believing. In this case, it is a 13 year old boy who is picked in a raffle to try and win a million dollars by passing a football through a 28 inch hole. My favorite part about it is that there is a girl named Abby who loses her sight ability. Will Nate win all the prize money? What will he use the money for? When you read this article, find out the Million Dollar Throw.

   Million-Dollar Throw Is Awesome!
Have you ever needed a book that is awesome and read over and over again? If you do, check out this review. Million Dollar Throw is about a kid named Brady who loves football but can not start it due to their sponsor not having enough money. He then gets a million dollars. He will get it or not? His parents are trying to work hard for their living due to Brady not having a mother, but he still plays hard every time he plays, even without a parent to support. Even if he gets bad, he does right back up. This book is absolutely amazing! Why '' ask you? This is why, due to him, missing a parent makes him even harder to practice. He is trying that hard to make his father proud. I mean '', that is absolutely amazing. Like when he signed for a million dollars for just one hit in a 11000000 chance. He also fails to throw the ball, but gets up and throws again! His best friend is blind, but it just pushes him over the limit. That is why you should read this book 1010!

   great sports book
This book is about Bradley, an elite 8th Grade quarterback who is also called by his friends as Nate Brodie. Nate entered a competition where he would throw a football into a tire for 30 yards and win 1 million dollars. While this is happening, his striking arm is failing on him because of some reason, and he is going through many financial issues. His best friend Abby also goes blind. Through these struggles it makes Nate feel more pressured to win the money. He will win the money? You must read to find out. I hope that anyone of the age of 10 likes this book, especially if they are a sports fan.

   A real page turner
Though this is young adult fiction and sports, I enjoyed it as much as or maybe even more than my 10-year-old son! It was the kind of book that you can only put down. Abby and his football buddies and his best friend, Nate, are also great role models for teens and teens, boys and girls.

   Million Dollar Throw
This novel, The Million Dollar Throw, by Mike Lupica, was a great book for young teens who enjoy sports. This book, one about a boy who loves football, has you reading it until you can hardly read. You can just put this book down because it gives you that feeling, What will happen next? In Mike Lupica's novel, a Ypung boy won a chance to win a million dollars. This erratic boy goes through a football season with young performances. To make this novel more exciting, Mike Lupica adds drama to this child's life, so that it is not all about football. This novel kept me reading until there were no more pages to read.
