This Description may be from another edition of this product.
A year ago, Travis McKinley, an unknown golfing amateur, shocked the world by winning the PGA Senior Open at Pebble Beach. Now he's famous, he makes his living playing the game he loves, and everything should be perfect. Still Travis can't shake the feeling that he's a fraud, an imposter who doesn't deserve his success--and after a series of disappointments and, to be honest, personal screw-ups, he might just prove himself right. A shot at redemption arrives in an unexpected form: a teenage outcast with troubles of his own--and a natural golf swing. As this unlikely duo sets out to achieve the impossible on the world's most revered golf course, Travis is about to learn that sometimes the greatest miracles of all take place when no one is watching.

Disappointed after reading Miracle at Augusta
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
Miracle at Augusta was a book that I really wanted to read. The sequel to the best golf book I have ever read is called Miracle on the 17 th Green. The 17 th Green had all. It was a terrible movie. I enjoyed the characters, the golf descriptions, and the compassion as a 60 year golfer. I think the miracle at Augusta was a flop. I quickly deleted it from my library after I read it. I am looking forward to the new books by James Patterson. Augusta was a big disappointment.

Great read for anyone whoever dreamed of playing Augusta
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
I have read more of James Patterson's mysteries than I can remember. This is not the same. He is either an avid golfer or doing a lot of research. It is an incredible story for seniors, but also for all golfers. It would be great to play on the Champtions' Tour, who hasn't thought of it? It's touching that we haven't dreamed of walking the grounds or playing the hallowed holes of Augusta National. The heroes of the book are not far off from the rest of us. It was a quick read.

Must be for young readers. Not much appealed to this old guy!
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
I didn't know what to think when I bought this book. I assume this story is for young readers because I don't know anything or care about golf. Good writing and easy reading, but it should have been listed under For Readers of All Ages. I' ve tried several of the series, but they didn't impress me. When I was ten years old, I might have liked all of these, but I'm really annoyed they didn't have a warning on the cover. I had one good thought. Thankfully it was only 200 pages. There is a Norm.

A Fantasy Read
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
The book is called Miracle at Augusta, but it's really a miracle that a teenager can break 80 less than a year after taking up the sport. A flaw was on the 10 th hole when the kid thought his second shot might have been lost and played a provisional. If he had to put it, he would not have been able to make a par. The author said he would have been putting for a par. I am familiar with the course because I have played it twice in my lifetime as a journalist. He did a great job capturing the flavor of the course, but there are some miracles. Too much of a miracle was what it was.

good; not my favorite reading subject
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
This isn't my cup of tea, even though it's written by James Patterson. The story moves quickly and the writing is good, but I don't like golf. I thought there would be a crime of some sort to solve along with the Master's part of the story, but I liked the characters and humor. I don't want readers to get the wrong idea that the book is good, but this is not my thing. I think golfers would be interested in this story.

it was a wonderful read that any lover of the game of golf ...
Derived From Web , Feb 8, 2022
The story is not about golf in the Kingdom, but it was a great read that anyone who loves the game of golf will enjoy. The novel had a good character development that all of us who struggle between dreams and the difficulty of maintaining our relationships, friends, and the practicalities of day to day living can relate to. I couldn't put down the book.
