Book Overview

In four rows of two, Miss Lina's eight ballerinas--Christina, Edwina, Sabrina, Justina, Katrina, Bettina, Marina, and Nina--dance to the park, at the zoo, and even while doing their schoolwork. They are one perfect act, but when Miss Lina introduces Regina, a new girl, the group of nine's steps become a mess.

A fun book to read. And kids like it too.
I'm sure that all parents have those books that they hope their kid will not pick up for bedtime because it is just not that good. This is the opposite and I campaign here and there for it a little. I bought it for my daughter's best friend and considered it a gift to both of them.

Enchanting delicate Illustrations and a Thoughtful Story for your little Ballerina!
This one is for my great grandson for Christmastime, and as she is interested in Ballerinas, I thought this would be perfect! She is 5 and wants to make her own friends, and that is what the basis of this story is, having someone new join you! I have received the hardcover version hoping that she will have it for years to come!

   Cute story
The story of Cute was cut. It is fun to read loud and giftable. I bought it as a gift for a friend whose daughter is named Lina.

   Love Lina my Grandmother ⁹
The title blew me away, however. My magnificent grandmother, who was 119 in March her name was Lina. I never heard her name ''. I made pink monkeys for our great grandsons and they look like sock ballerinas, then I found this book. Wow, what a find thank you so much. I have put her story in the front of the books, so these 2 little girls can love her as much as I did.

One of my favorite books of all time
If there was a picture under the word adorable in the dictionary, this book would be there. Story, lots of fun rhymes, and a sweet story that teaches to not be afraid of change, practice is key and inclusion! I have enjoyed the whole series and really have enjoyed it. As a bonus, I know all the proper poses of ballet!

Wonderful picture book for ballet-loving girls
Christina, Edwina, Sabrina, Justina, Katrina, Bettina, Marina and Nina will dance under Miss Lina, but will their routine of dancing in four rows of two survive the addition of the new student Regina? I love this book just love. It is an old picture book with beautiful pictures and a tight rhyming prose that makes it a joy to read. Our girls love it and laugh loud at the jokes. It seems to be out of print, which is a shame, it deserved a larger audience.

I've never seen a book arrived in this condition before
Most were perforated, so I was able to separate them carefully along the perforation lines. This was a gift, but because there was not enough time to give it, I was somewhat embarrassed to return it because the tops of most of the pages were not smooth or evenly cut. Cute story, but very disappointed with the physical condition of the book.
