A solid series of children's books

In the early 1990s, I came across the children's book gem of the Miss Nelson series. These books were my childhood favorites for some reason or another. Like many things in life, children's literature has changed. Flash-forward : My young adult life never gave me the opportunity to read books by children. All changed when I decided to date my now fiancé, as she has a 5 year old son. I was able to find these books again thanks to Amazon. I can now share a part of my childhood with my stepson. Needless to say that these books seem to be his new favorites, especially the football one. The books offer a great message, great illustrations and a great story. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

I bought it as used-good condition, while I'm sure it was well loved by someone, it will be harder for us to love, as it is missing 2 pages. I did not mind the corners being lifted, but I do prefer all the pages.

Miss Nelson Is Back

Just a beautiful children's story, perfect for a teacher to read to a not so perfect classroom of children. Loved it as a teacher, now love it as a grandmother. Comic illustrations, suspense, at least for young children, and a wise ending make a great story... Outstanding plot for teachers to try on their unsuspecting class too!
