   Excellent Book Quality!
Beautifully produced : A lot of thought has gone into the design of this box set, making it as much of a tactile experience as a reading pleasure.
A very good set of books
I read the set in 4 days, I enjoyed it so much. Well written, entertaining, and well paced. Mr. Riggs was able to suspend my disbelief with colorful characters, interesting situations, entertaining descriptors, and comic timing. While I am much older than I imagine the target audience is, the story was able to catch my interest and hold it. I would recommend this set to old, young and in between, alike. I bet that you won 't be disappointed.
   Five Stars
I love this box set! I read the books a long time ago while in high school, and I heard that they were making a film based on the book. We all know that 9 times out of 10, the book is always better than the movie. I am still excited to see the movie, but I have to reread the books because in Nerd World, who does not love people who have traits that make them so phenomenal and fighting in a war to keep their world from being evilly conquered? My imagination runs wild with these books, and I felt like I was right there with them during the battle! The worlds they encountered, the people they entered and the food they would feast on. It had my attention and caught it with every turn of the page.
What a wonderful read, I tend not to try these books, but after watching the movie, I decided to read the books. The peculiar children and Miss Peregrine were so interesting, as was reading about their struggles. Take the time to read these wonderful books.

The stories are great, but the printing of the first book was damaged. About 6-8 pages had the bottom folded and stapled into the middle of the book. Not damaged, but still unreadable for something I want to keep in my library.
We should all be so peculiar
This is an unusual series in that it became more complex in theme and character with each book than just modifications of the first. You come to know that these strange phenomena are just real human beings and cre about their plight.
   Love these books
I love this series ''. When I started this, I had an expectation and I surpassed it far!
Great book series for 12+ reader
This series of the books we really enjoyed. Originally, it was purchased as a gift for our niece and later we bought a set for ourselves to read. I believe that they consider this a 13+ series, but it will all come down to the maturity of the reader as to whether it's ok content wise. It is not an easy read for younger children.
   Great set of books!
I enjoyed every book immensely ''. They were well written. They are of interest and I highly recommend them. All children in these books have a super power of one kind or another. The characters seem very real to me. You grow up to care and to like them. The author Ransom Riggs is a fantastic writer. His books are thoughtful, suspenseful and he knows how to really draw you into the story. The characters get into trouble and when they think things can't get any worse, they do! Children are resourceful, caring and determined. I am in my 60s, older than the age group for which these books were intended. I truly enjoyed them! I look forward to the next trilogy in his Peculiar children's series. The next book is due on October 1, 2018.
   Wonderful trilogy
Was recommended a book a year ago, finally got around to reading it and fell in love. Book 2 is read in two days and Book 3 is written. Also ended up getting the audible editions, didn 't mind either the narrators. Highly recommended these stories for teens and up.
