Book Overview

From Mark Greaney, the New York Times bestselling author of Gunmetal Gray and a coauthor of Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan novels, comes a high-stakes thriller featuring the world's most dangerous assassin: the Gray Man.

Court Gentry's flight on a CIA transport plane is interrupted when a security team brings a hooded man aboard. They want to kick Gentry off the flight but are overruled by CIA headquarters. The mystery man is being transported to England where a joint CIA/MI6 team will interrogate him about a mole in Langley.

When they land in an isolated airbase in the U.K., they are attacked by a hostile force who kidnaps the prisoner. Only Gentry escapes. His handlers send him after the attackers, but what can one operative do against a trained team of assassins? A lot, when that operative is the Gray Man.

   another great read
As I have enjoyed reading this series with all the stories in this series. They seem to be better and better.
I chose this book because it was written by Mark Greaney and is one of my favorite authors of suspense and interesting stories.
A fantastic story. Tell it superbly. An excellent balance of actions, fear, humanity, humour and comraderie.
Twisting plot and plenty of action.
The only thing I don 't like about this book is that Brewer did not get what came to her.
   Good read.
I read the entire Graham Man Series '' and was not disappointed with any of them. I will be waiting anxiously for the next in this series.
   Another winner
The author takes us on another journey with great characters and throws them right back into the action we expect, great story and intrigue... Page turning! Can 't wait for the next one...
Started slowly with multiple characters to meet and jump back and forth in time, but when the second gear was selected, it was full speed ahead. I liked the story line and the climax was thrilling and tip of the chair '' stuff.
Even better than the last one
The best thriller writing today happens. The charities - development keeps getting better and better with all 3 main protagonists in this thriller. Court, Zoya and Zach are easy to invest and I keep hoping that they continue on their rocky but positive adventures.
   I enjoyed it
First the plot is way to convoluted, and secondly the Gray Man is not omnipotent and third he has a love interest. Still, there are lots of physical scenes of gunfire, martial arts, unbelievable maiming and other chaos. The book is typical of the genre, however, as in the early stages, it is the American guys who are victorious only at the end, and the bad way does triumph. I understand why it was convenient to explain the plot line, but I really don 't enjoy flashbacks. They interrupt the flow of the story.
   On our toes again.
What can I say? Mr Greaney also did himself. This book is captivating and suspenseful and keeps us on our toes. I just have to wait for the next one.
