#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELER - A collection of all-new soul-satisfying dishes from America's favorite home cook

In Modern Comfort Food, Ina Garten shares 85 new recipes that will feed your deepest cravings. Many of these dishes are inspired by childhood favorites--but with the volume turned way up, such as Cheddar and Chutney Grilled Cheese sandwiches (the perfect match for Ina's Creamy Tomato Bisque), Smashed Hamburgers with Caramelized Onions, and the crispiest hash browns that are actually made in a waffle iron

There are few things more comforting than gathering for a meal with the ones you love, especially when dishes like Cheesy Chicken Enchiladas are at the center of the table. Old-fashioned crowd pleasers like Roasted Sausages, Peppers, and Onions are even more delicious and streamlined for quick cleanup. For dessert? You'll find the best Boston Cream Pie, Banana Rum Trifle, and Black and White Cookies you'll ever make. Home cooks can always count on Ina's dependable, easy-to-follow instructions, with lots of side notes for cooking and entertaining--it's like having Ina right there beside you, helping you all the way.

From cocktails to dessert, from special weekend breakfasts to quick weeknight dinners, you'll find yourself making these cozy and delicious recipes over and over again.

No one better than Ina Garyen
I have Ina's entire collection of books. I like that her recipes are easy to make and use common ingredients. She makes it easy to do. The photos in her cookbook don't hurt.
   Perhaps my favorite
This may be the best cookbook of Barefoot ContessaIna. I feel like all of these recipes are doable. I feel like seasoned cooks will enjoy the recipes in that they are really good and they produce great food too.
Cookbooks are a pleasure to read and cook from. I need some of the ingredients to make these recipes, and I can't wait to get them.
   Another great one from Ina.
I buy most of her books. This one had a lot that I would try to accomplish. Her recipes are easy to understand. Many of her books are in our permanent rotation, and I have never had a disappointment making her recipes.
   Ina doesn’t disappoint
Everything Ina Garten does is gold. Several recipes from the new book have been great.
   Barefood Contessa - The Best
Enjoying this book very much! I made the Applesauce Cake and it was a huge hit. I love everything that Ina makes. Most of her books are in my possession. She is a great lady with her husband.
I have been using Ina's recipes for years and have yet to find a recipe I don't like. The book was full of flavor and it was amazing. I will be buying every cookbook she has published. !
   Time .. taste and wuakity
The skillet roasted chicken and potatoes was the subject of a 5 star review. I have found Ina's recipes to be fair, but I love watching her. The recipe took a long time and it was bland. I was disappointed but I got the book so I will try more.
   Great Cookbook
I have all of Ina's books. I think this may be one of my favorites after flipping through the pages. Doesn't sound like heaven. If you've never owned any of Ina Garten's books, you will love them. Every recipe has a picture.
This book was a huge disappointment. I adore Ina! Her first cookbook, "Barefoot Contessa", is a gold-standard for amazing party and family dinner recipes. It is wonderful. Over the years, I have worn out my copy. I bought several of her books and thought they were very good. When I saw the recipes, I was completely shocked. One of the recipes is to buy store bought kielbasa, slice it on the diagonal, and serve it with mustard. Is that really true? What about cheese enchiladas? The recipe doesn't look modern or inspired. There is a good Bloody Mary recipe, a very nice banana ginger cookie trifle, and black and white cookies, but overall, massive disappointment. The book needs more than three or four recipes to be worth it. Not for me. The recipes were very basic.
