   Perfect for Me!
It's great to be back home, said Byrd, 68, a former guitar player who has played professionally in Europe. It was a total lack of courage on my part to take that first lesson with my 15-year-old granddaughter. This book is great for both me and my granddaughter because we are at different levels of difficulty, Raymond said. It has been a lifelong dream come true to finally have started playing the guitar. They go faster than me and I will have to work my way up to them. 0 4368578 They go faster than me and I will have to work my way up to them.

It covers a lot of material.
I wanted to move beyond guitar tabs and learn how to read real music, he said. This book covers a lot of that, and it's very readable," said Dr. Chester Floyd, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. As much as this book cover scares me, it scares me less than the other Grades of the book cover.

   Very useful beginner book
Our daughter had done some homework on the guitar before we invested in paying a guitar instructor for lessons. She was up a couple of steps at the front gate.

Time to learn how to play guitar!
It was suggested to me by three different music stores in the St. Louis area. Basic and easy to follow. Also liked the idea of having more levels of difficulty to complete.

   Very helpful for notes
Very helpful for a true beginning player like me. I would like to see a review type page where you could go back a chapter and then apply the new skills. It's just practice, practice and more practice, Bustamante said.

Really easy to follow that it takes the place of an ...
Simply put, it takes a guitar teacher to take basic guitar lessons. What it's missing is technique, holding the pick, holding the guitar with less muscle tension, he said.

   Great for beginners!
I use this book to help guide my guitar students. I really love this book, and how straightforward and thorough it is, McBride said. For the price and information, it's worth it.

This is the best printed guitar-learning resource I've seen
Was teaching someone who had no knowledge of guitar, and we worked through the early lessons in this book, which was well-explained and appropriately paced, Mr. Byrd said.
