A stay at home parent resource
Derived From Web , Jul 25, 2021
The basic principals of the book are a great foundation for learning how to care for an infant. The recommended scheduling is ideal for a stay at home parent. This is not a match for a realistic schedulingguidance tool. If you have a space that allows full-time home access, this is a great tool.

This is a must for all parents and caregivers!

The books are a great resource. They keep it simple, and just what you need to know. The schedules in here are the best. For all three kids, they have helped us create great sleepers.

Not really what I was looking for.
Derived From Web , Mar 4, 2021
Two nurses wrote it. It is more like steps to sleep time than it is to help a baby sleep. It does not mention how to start a routine. It seems helpful to know what to look for if your baby is sick, but it is not what I was looking for. It is expensive. Will be coming back.

good Resource - info is quick and easy to find
Derived From Web , Jan 6, 2020
I have not followed everything in the book, but I think it is a good resource. Most of the book is written in short paragraphs and bullet point lists. This has been helpful as I don't have a lot of time to read long books. It is easy to find and well laid out.

Amazing sleep training techniques
Derived From Web , Jul 31, 2019
I was dying. The baby was 6 months old and woke up many times a night. He would take 45 minutes of catnaps throughout the day. A friend told me that she used to sleep her babies through the night on the Mom's on Call schedule. I was willing to try anything, even though I was skeptical. 3 weeks of being faithful with the schedule and my 6 month old was finally sleeping through the night and taking two long naps every day. We are so excited that we are starting with a plan that we know works, because we are expecting baby #2 now.

Not just for infant sleeping
Derived From Web , Jul 16, 2019
I first heard of Moms on Call for their sleep training. We are having a baby in October and my husband and I would like to be prepared because I have seen close friends and family struggle with sleep with their children. This book was bought for the example of sleepfeeding schedules. The end of the book contains this information. The majority of the book is about taking care of an infant. Which is helpful, but not what we were looking for. Maybe it will be useful as a reference guide when the baby is here, but we were disappointed in the overview of the sleeping guide at the end. Was left with some questions.
