   Not the disaster Gaurdian was.
The best thing for me is the continuity added by the inclusion of Jim Butcher's Grunge series, our wonderful combat exorcist and the underutilized John Ringo short story elements. If I muat was fair, Gaurdian gave me one thing I loved and he is here for a short cameo also, Mr Trashbags is wonderful comic relief. The revelation of who Stricken is really was an oh shit moment. I look forward in a way I was not after Gaurdian.

Was thrilled to see this was available when I saw it online!
Didn 't realize Book 8 of Monster Hunter International was already out of print. When I bought this on Amazon, I ran it immediately. From page one, you can 't put it down. The gun bits are accurate, as you would expect from Mr. Correa, the action is well written, Owen's slightly self-deprecating sense of humor is half the reason you buy it, etc... The supernatural elements are truly creepy. Owen Zastava Pitt is my hero. I wish it were a longer book ''. I gave this 5 stars only because you can not give it 6. Eagerly hopeful that there will soon be a book 9!

   A Wild Ride
Badass is a mountainous sand. Loved reading the book, enjoyed the twists, cameos and teasers, especially the ending. Can 't wait for the next book to come out!

Not intended for snowflakes wimps or MCB
Bought 3 copies so that I could see the glee on my brothers'faces. The interdimensional Lord of Hate strikes again, this book is epic! It ties in the main stories and memoirs into the lateral arc. The whooping this book prefaces has an epic stage set. It was like reading a Navajo rug... in a good way... The interwoven story was technically the calm before the storm and was still packed with action. Oliver's performance on audible was great except for Earl's sounding like he was wearing a silver thong. Rock Star - Hairs be damned, we have the best Larry in the multiverse.

   Wonderful
As always a great story from Larry Correia. Full of action and as always accurate weapons! Looking forward to the next book.

An excellently told installment, but too many detailed fight scenes for my taste.
I am a big fan of MHI and do not believe that Larry Correia and co-authors could write a bad book about this group of the hunters. That said, I am not a big fan of long, detailed fight scenes over and over again. Now, I know that a lot of people really enjoy this, and again a few are okay, but without going back and reading the last two books, I am a little fuzzy on some of the details that I thought I would remember clearly. Since the last MHI, I have probably read 150 books and would have appreciated a short synopsis. This is a big complaint I have with a long, ongoing series with months and months in between the books. The low-star reviewers all have very valid points, tho.

I will wait for the follow up. There are still threads hanging left...

   Too short
I would have given the full five stars, but i do dislike cliffhangers, no matter how great they are. I hope the next book comes out soon.

   Another poorly written entry.
I read the pages and turned the words. There were a lot of words involved. It had a cover page, and the artwork was on it. This is exactly how reading this book felt. It really does read like a book report from a high school. I am not sure Larry wrote this one, and if he did, WTF are his publishers'thinking? Seems kind of like he is outsourcing his writing to his junior fan club. I am very disappointed. I really hoped that the last book was a fluke ''. Sorry, but I won 't purchase any more books from you, Larry.
