Children will be invited to join in as they count down from 10 to zero to see how God rescues his people from slavery in Egypt with signs and wonders.

   Biblical and Beautiful
What a beautiful retelling of the Exodus. The Illustration style will bring the plagues to life in an appropriate way for children without compromising Biblical truth. This may be my very favorite children's version of this story. I highly recommend this book for your family! It is biblical and beautiful!

Help young ones learn the Bible stories
The illustrations for both this book are vibrant and eye-catching. The wording is simple and yet interesting for young minds to be interested and learn Bible stories. The books are written for ages 2 to 4 years old. This is especially fun for helping young people learn to count. It is also nice that these stories are part of the Very Best Bible Stories series, so that they can be part of a whole book collection of children. I received a copy of both these books from the Good Book Company. Both books are part of the series of the Very Best Bible Stories.

   A new family favorite
One of our favorites in this series by The Good Book Company, this book has joined our regular bedtime rotation quickly. As a mother, I appreciate the ethnically diverse illustrations by Jennifer Davison and how the story is true to the biblical text and doesn 't skirt around the uncomfortable parts of Exodus. My four and six year old boys love to count along and repeating the phrases Let my people go! '' and No, no, no! '' The last page is my favorite. “Moses and the People ” sang together and danced a song. There is no such thing '', Lord. Amen! Praise the Lord!

A book that uses the concept of counting to tell the story of God saving His people out of Egypt.
The book emphasizes counting, as the plagues are explained one by one. I love how the books in the Very Best Bible Stories series, crystalize a main point of these stories to give children a deeper understanding of why God included them in the Bible and why they are still relevant to us today. Note that the book does not shy away from what actually happens, so that in some cases, even though the suggested age range is 2-6, you may choose to save the book later if your children are on the younger side of the spectrum.

The repetition and countdown were so engaging to my 2 yo, who can now identify the characters and basic story elements on each page.

LOVE this, especially for young children!
My nearly 2 year old daughter loves this book! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and the illustrations catches her attention! She also loves repetition, which is so awesome for young children! I love, how this book tells the story of Moses and Pharaoh in a “ story-like ” topic! For a long time, I was looking for Bible-based books like this, so glad I found it! How! ''
