Fun book! Bruce

Book is fun! Bruce, a grumpy bear who loves to cook eggs, is mistaken for the mother of goslings who were to be his meal. The Goslings are immediately attached to his displeasure Bruce. Bruce tries to rid himself of his accidental dependents in very comic ways. After several attempts to regain his independence, he decides to embrace his newly formed family and make the best of it. The expressions drawn on Bruce's face and the faces of the goslings make the book really funny. This story by Ryan Higgins is humorous and should be amusing to preschoolers and young readers as well as adult readers who have the pleasure of sharing it with the little ones. I recommend this book highly to parents, grandparents and teachers who love to read children.

We LOVE this book. We LOVE it. We borrowed it from our local library and fell in love immediately with it. My son, who turned three just was so excited to get it for his birthday. My three year old and my five year old love this book and have me read it almost everyday. My son will read so hard when we laugh about it. I would definitely recommend '' this product to others. It is funny, heartwarming, and cute! I plan to buy this for some of my nieces and nephews for Christmas! I plan to buy it for some of my nieces and nephews! It is a quick read, so it is not a big deal when my children want me to read it again and again.

Until the author made a visit to our local primary school, I had never come across this book. Besides being a heck of a nice guy, this man has the best sense of humor..., which comes in this book. This story of a snack-gone-wrong had me belly laughing. Every illustration is hysterical and intentional. I bought one for myself so that I liked it so much that I bought one for my nieces and nephews and the sequel Hotel Bruce for my nieces and nephews.

This book will absolutely LOVE YOU! The story is cute and engaging and the pictures are FANTASTIC! I bought it for my upcoming granddaughter. My husband's name is Bruce and this story fits him to a tee! Great book!

This is a great book for children and one that adults won'; mind reading aloud several times. I love her, my daughter loves it, my grand-children love it. I am purchasing more products in the series to give them to my granddaughters. I can not recommend this book highly enough. It is now sold and enjoyed by many.

Love this story. Love this story ''. But when ita says paperback AND cd. I expected that I would get both. Instead, i only received the CD and ordered the book separated. I now worry that when I get the day paper back and book, I wont get either.

Funny and Enjoyable

We found the art and the story funny and enjoyable. It was opened after it was read at Christmas. It was a little long to catch the 1 year old attention, but her cousins, 5, 9, 13 and 16, in addition to several adults, all listened to it.

I am not a great judge of the best books for children, but I like this one and I can imagine that the parents of the recipients enjoy the story as much as their children. It was recommended in the WSJ as one of the best books for 2018 for children, which is how I found out about it. Note that if the price is still low on Amazon, the Scholastic books website recently had the paperback for around $5. I found new hardcover copies at second and Charles for $7.
