I have bought several books by Mr. Putter and this is my least favorite so far. Not nearly as funny as Mr. Putter picks the pears or as humorous as Mr. Putters walks the dog. It's Mr. Putter so that it is worth having in your collection. Maybe others will find it likeable, but there was none of the humor in it that we usually find with Mr. Putter.
Cynthia Rylant is a Great Writer
They are unique, funny and wonderful for people who enjoy reading aloud and for children who are fortunate enough to listen to them and look at the wonderful illustrations.
   Fun book for any age!
Great book for children, parents, grandparents, everyone! The story is realistic and takes a humorous look at how we are. The book makes artwork really. We laughed so hard reading to a grandchild that we bought it in a different family for another grandchild.
   Love Mr. Putter & Tabby
This is another good book by Cynthia Rylant about Mr. Putter, Tabby, Mrs. Teaberry and Spike. I got this for my grandsons and really enjoyed them. I like all the books of Mr. Putter except Mr. Putter and Tabby Ride the Train Cats and Dogs were not allowed on the train and Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry found a way to sneak them on, so I would not advise. The other 14 or 15 or so books are great, however, and I know that your children or grandchildren ages 1 to 8 years would really enjoy them.
   Good ol' Mr Putter.
It is read by : She loved it. It enjoyed. We have all the books by Mr Putter and this one was pretty great. These with your children share - it is a happy time to read together.
She's out grown them but we still by them because they are the best!
How can one give Mr. Putter and Tabby books anything but a huge thumbs up? She has outgrown them, but we still like them because they are the best!
