Save yourself the trouble and Just Buy Them ALL...

Choosing between the individual books of Mr. Putter and Tabby is just one stressor you do not need, especially since you read one once you have decided you're going to read it all. Just chuck them all and buy on your way to happiness! We probably own almost all the books by Mr. Putter and Tabby. Initially I bought them for myself, but other more appropriate members of the household have adopted them, learned to read on them, now read novels... and still will not give them back! The stories are sweet and the illustrations can not be compared. If you love cats or their diabolical ways, buy this alone for the illustrations. We all hope to reach the age of eight one day - I hope I have a good cat and it is this much fun!

ZING!!!

What a hilarious story! Of course, Ammo has fallen apples... but he does not knock off any pears from the tree... No Pear jelly still. Enter Mrs. Teaberry... and the answer to Pear jelly. What I love is that Cynthia Rylant has quite a knack for writing children's books. My daughter LOVES reading her books... Not only are her stories magnificent, but the artwork is always so crisp, colorful, and refreshing... adding so much to the story. Highly recommended this or any of the other books by Mr. Putter and Tabby in the series.

Have to read these to your children!
Derived From Web , May 28, 2022
If you have never purchased a series for your children, get this series, which is great from 3 to 8 years old for children who are not yeat reading at a strong 2nd grade level. 2nd Chapter Books for Great Early Readers. These books are so touching stories of great, kind, with a touch of silliness. The author always feels happy for Mr. Putter at the end of the story. I always feel like I want to be them with him, enjoying his good time. How Catherine Rylant can turn a simple subject like Pickig Pear to make Jelly feel like you have been on a wonderful adventure is a gift that few writters have. I recommend it all '' for boys and girls.

4year old son and I both adore this book...
Derived From Web , May 28, 2022
This is such a beautiful book. The part where Mr. Putter cuts an old pair of boxer shorts to get elastic to make a slingshot is just silly enough to please a potty-humor newbie, yet is still tasteful. My son loved all the descriptions of juicy things... apple cider, apple pie, pear jelly, apple turnovers. I love the pleasant companionship between Mr. Putter and Tabby, as well as the wonderful drawings. This book makes me want to check out the other books by Mr. Putter and Tabby!

We LOVE Mr Putter and Tabby books
Derived From Web , Nov 2, 2021
My wife and I are grandmas, and one of our joys is reading to our grandchildren. None of them are living nearby, so most of the chances we have read are via video calls. We have many different books by Mr. Putter and Tabby. Cynthia Rylant is a joy as a children's writer. The stories are for children and adults engaging and fun. The books are also just the right length for reading for our kid crew. And if you like these things, you should also check out the Henry and Mudge series by Rylant!

This author has to love. My son loves Henry and Mudge and I was excited when I found books by Mr Putter and Tabby. The books are great to read and a fun cuddle time before bed. My son loves reading these to me or to him. After reading the pears, we ended up buying over half of them. The rest of the series will wait until Christmas to purchase...
