Great for a Backyard Bug Hunting Boy
The two year old and his mommy absolutely love to find bugs in the back yard. Both kids loved reading the book and identifying bugs they have already found. A big boy, this is for him.

2 year old loves this book
Lately, my 2 1/2 year old has been obsessed with bugs. I also bought her book "The Ladybug's Revenge" and a few other bug-themed board books. It must be because she's a die-hard Christian, right? She writes, "I'm not a fan, but I do want to read it." Illustrations by Robert Penna, for example, are on point.

   Such a cute book!
My 2 1/2 year old LOVES the book. For the first month, we had to read it every night. It's a really cute book, and not a boring, generic ABC book, Mr. Goin said.

Good book for learning alphabet and insects!
My daughter is currently learning the alphabet. I thought this would be a great way to introduce butterflies to her favourite plants, Mrs. Dhaliwal said. She does not currently love the book but I hope that as such she will grow and start to recognize her nature. It was a creative way of blending and alphabetizing some science.

Awesome book - with nature lessons built in
It was my first Christmas with my granddaughter and I couldn't be happier. I'm a fan of insects and wanted something to teach her about the world we live in, Tunick said. I was so happy to see this was a positive book on bugs, Raymond said. It mentions Monarch butterflies and the need for milkweed, and even that wasps eat many of the pest bugs. I can't wait to read it. Since she is only 1 I'm not sure if I will enjoy it more then she right now, but I look forward to using it over and over to teach her about the bugs outside.

   My Grandson is Obsessed!!!
Mrs. Peanu's Alphabet Books are also very good. I have purchased the Alphabet Book, the Bug, Flower, and Vegetable Alphabet Books for my grandson, Jack. He has a 2-year-old son by his second wife. He can't wait for one of his use to sit down with him, so that he can read them to us over and over again. Pure delight. Please, I want to thank you, for all your purchases.

   C is for cricket.
It's a cute book with large colorful illustrations, said the book's author, Gillian Malloch. Extra ink was needed on one of the pages because the printer can't remove it. It was supposed to be a present, but now it's too late to replace with another.

   Great book for toddlers/preschool
The book is also illustrated by Pauley, who created some of the most beautiful images of the 20th century. The book is illustrated with pictures of animals. My daughter loves books and I love reading her, especially educational ones, Raymond said. We're thrilled to have found this and a few other bug books to homeschool our preschoolers co-op on "B" day. Other moms admired the book, one bought it on the spot.

Good addition to the ABC learner or young bug lover!
A great little book, said Dr. Goin. Teaching my 2.5 year old the alphabet can get pretty dry and monotonous, so it's nice to have little books like this thrown into our library to help spice things up and learn new things. Kiddo has moderate interest in insects, and this book holds his attention. Thanks for the choice of insects. Some well known, others not, and the little snippets of fun facts thrown in about each creature is written in an easy to understand and attractive way that will keep children and their parents busy. As an older reader, I can appreciate the book's art style and love how attractive the book is to the kids. I am eternally grateful that P is not for Palmetto cockroach and C is not for cockroach, Raymond said.
