Little boys love flatulence

I have two grandsons who are allowed to speak to excess. I spotted one of these books at WalMart and went to Amazon to complete the trilogy. If I don't have to listen to potty mouth all day, these books can be read to you. There are three strikes for deliberate transgressions and no reading that book.

My six year old is a big fan of making body noises. I immediately ordered the book and sent it to him. He opened the package with his dad. I read it with him during my visit. One of the best books I have presented him was the one he was overcome with laughter.

My butt is broken and I need a new one for my granddaughter. She couldn't wait for her Dad to come home so she could read them to him. She has gotten a lot of mileage out of these books. The pictures are cute and it's easy for her to read them loudly. !

Why so many boys, and no girls?

The book and the story are wonderful. But why is it all about boys? The main character of a boy, specifically noted to be a son, but his cousins, four of them boys, are boys. First of all, why are all five characters boys, and second, why is it so explicit? I bought this for a little girl. The main character was a boy, I didn't mind. It all seems way over the top here. She won't see herself in the book and it will perpetuate the stereotype that only boys can be silly about farting.

The first book in the series was great. We bought the second but it was lost when we were ready to wear a dinner jacket. Didn't make sense. When we read this third book, my 5yr old who thinks anything to do with farts is hysterical didn't even smile. She asked if we could pick a different book after she lost interest.

If you have a child who is struggling to find interest or motivation to read, these are a great series. When our 6yr old wasn't meeting her standards, it broke my heart because we struggled to find a way to motivate her. This series was amazing. The reviews were for boys, but don't be misled. your little princesses will be giggling like crazy! She bought them for her cousin's birthday and she was so happy to see him open it. Giggles are crazy!

The three butt books are very popular with my 7 year old grandson. He loves the rhymes and the pictures, and the potty humor is right on target. You can't miss Butt if you have boys. He can't read it himself, but he loves having me read it to him, and the rhymes make it easy for him to memorize.

Superb illustrations and binding. I bought this book to go with the other two. The first two were hilarious. This one is not nearly as engaging as the others. I wouldn't spend my money on this one if I had tried to find a copy at a local store.
