   Fun for beginning readers
Even though the book is too long for beginning readers, it is still fun.

   Bob books. Great teaching tool!
We're huge fans of the Harry Potter series, said Blair. My 6 year old has been reading them for over a year and my 2 year old is learning her letters too!

A great introduction to the alphabet for a child beginning to read. He has never let me down, Mary Doyle said of Bob.

   Love these books
Our daughter has the first two sets of Bob books, and the kindergarten set of Bob books. He was also a big fan of his older sister having sight books. So, we gave him these books for Christmas, we said. When we started these books, my son could only recognise 'O' by the time we finished them. Now he knows more than half the alphabet and he wont go to bed at night until we do at least one of the books.

My set was missing the “IJ” book
I recommend this book highly to anyone who reads it. In fact, my 5 year old son absolutely loves them. Our staff reads them daily, we don't think twice about it. It's great to see that the set is still missing the 'IJ' book. The Harrisons insist they have a duplicate edition of the "KL" book. I would really like to have the missing book so we can read the complete set, Mr. Rule told the judge. However, I regret to say that I ordered these before the start of school and by the time I noticed, our return window had closed.

   dollar store quality
The book is being sold through Scholastic for educational purposes only. Each book has two letters, but the letter sounds are integrated. Difficult when using a letter-by-mail program. Black line drawings by Pablo Picasso are among the great masters of the 20th century. Really disappointed in these and after returning, said Elizabeth. At best, Dollar store quality at best. May work for emerging readers proficient in letter and sound recognition. Not appropriate for letter-sound instruction.

   Teach Your Toddler to Read
These are easy to use, even for the most advanced users. I purchased them for my granddaughters because of all the positive things I've heard about them and the early ages other people's children began to read.

   Not impressed.
She enjoyed “Nana time” as we worked through the books, coloring the pages. The boy's grandmother said he never found anything. I really don't think either one of them derived much value from it.

   Great for beginners
My son is on the second set of books. My daughter is younger and felt left out and kept asking if she can start reading. She was not ready to read the book, so I purchased it. I ended up with these books as a way to reinforce the letter sounds, teach her how to recognise the loving title of a book, and to just feel comfortable with what's to come in reading.

   Bob books are great.
Really enjoying the Bob books with our daughter. They are thin, so I don't recommend just leaving them around to be played with by toddlers. The two will be torn apart in a few weeks. It's perfect for keeping them organized, the storage box said.
