   Great pre-writing exercise
I put off the handwriting with my two children because I thought it would be a big battle. I bought a stack of Kumon books and we started with this one. The children are excited to do their daily mazes. I didn 't see how mazes were going to help with pencil control, but after a few minutes I see a remarkable difference, especially in my 4 year old daughter's control and staying within the path. I think that this is helping us move towards the traditional handwriting.

   Maze book
It starts easy and gradually gets harder and harder. If you compare the first maze to the last maze, you will notice that your child learned a huge amount of skill in doing this workbook. Just be aware that there is an easier maze workbook that is good for 2 year olds, called My Book Of Easy Mazes.

ideal starting point in the learning process
This is a good book for beginners of mazes. The puzzles are great and simple and allow a younger child to easily follow the path with a finger or a marker. My child is 4.5 and I had no difficulty explaining them once I completed them. We are going for the next step up, so I am hoping for a bit more complexity to challenge him, we started with alphabet workbooks and he had none of it. It was me teaching teaching '' and I met with resistance and lack of interest. This maze book stirred up something and I think the idea of winning '' by reaching the end of the maze was an a-ha moment of his. This led in turn to the successful introduction of other puzzle books and workbooks that eventually led to alphabetmathwritingetc subjects. He is proud to finish a book and is eager to start the next and for that I am very pleased.

   Fun to do
I have written a book about fun. My one-year-old daughter loved it and kept her entertained for a few hours. The mazes get bigger as they go, so that it makes it more challenging, which is great.

Huge hit with my 4 year old!
With my son, this was such a big hit that he finished it in 2 days. There are lots of funny mazes! I love Kumon's books!

Young grandson is good at it already!
I like the idea that it is good for different age groups, as children grow up so fast! It is so much fun to watch him grow up... as long as it doesn't happen too fast.

   Excellent Book
My child was just turned 3. He loves reading, can already read, but used to demonstrate a little resistance to drawing or gripping a pencil. This book made him turn the other way. He loves completing these puzzles and is almost done with this book in less than 2 weeks! He has gotten better and faster each day. I am pleased and will purchase the next ones in this series for sure.

   YOUNG MAZES LOVERS
Our 4 year old grandson enjoyed having a book by Mazes. He previously had only 1 at a time, like on a cereal box or on a paper placemat of a restaurant. It was nice to see him concentrate for more than a minute on something.
