a good activity book for kids between 2-3 years of age...
I have two kids that are 4 and 2 years old. Even if the book says it's for toddlers, the activities are often hard for toddlers to understand or perform. However, this book is truly a great activity book for 2 years. It has 80 pages of activities printed on high quality paper and most of them are doable by a 2-year-old, with adult supervision and help. Following a path with a pencil, the kids develop fine motor skills. I think 2-3 year olds would benefit the most from this book, even though anyone older may find it too easy. I am very happy with the outcome of the negotiations, Mr. Dhaliwal said.

   Useful for pencil control
Bought one of these workbooks years ago for my son when he started showing interest in writing and it was helpful for him to practice making the lines to get better control. The activities are usually to make a line from one point to another, starting with tracing a dotted line, then making the line stay in the road. It has nice pictures to make it seem more real. At some point the lines get drawn and added to the book. The actress will sit and practice making the lines. The most important thing is that both my kids have fun doing the workbook, Melissa said. The kids learn how to use pencil well.

   Great for teaching writing skills.
In her classroom, she was told to "write her name on the valentine cards" for her friends. Obviously, the teachers would have thought any old mark was fine, but my granddaughter wasn't that flexible and was crying. She just did not have the hand control to do those fine lines, he said. I bought the book on Amazon. com. It's perfect, Mr. D'Antonio said. Not hard, but a bit of a challenge that she is well able to meet. Because she whips through the book so quickly, my daughter made copies of the pages so they can be done repeatedly. Even though she can't begin to write her name, she has had so many successes with writing thanks to this book that she is feeling pretty confident in her writing abilities. At 3 years old, that is about the best you could hope for, he said. I think this is an impressively designed book and it does a great job of encouraging and advancing basic skills, he said.

My 3 year old loves this book! It keeps ...
The book is very well written, and my son absolutely loves it. It's great to be back home, said Dr. Caralyn Hughes, who helps keep her busy and focused longer than most coloring books or other activities. Within a day, we saw huge improvements, said Dr. Simona. Vander Velde, director of the Institute for Data Science and Technology.

   Perfect for beginners
Both of my boys have read this book. I would recommend this to all beginners. It's great to be able to start with the pencil, Mr. O'Neill said. Before they can write, they must first learn to count, type and draw.

Wish I could give this book a bazillion stars!!!
My grandson is having a Challenge tracing letter with curves, so I thought this would help, and he would have some fun in the process, too. I was surprised at the variety of different exercises in the book, said Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The paper is well-made and extremely sturdy, making it an excellent choice for classroom use. To remove the pages, you will definitely need some type of razor blade tool. I laminated a few pages and they held up very well compared to other books that I have laminated, Mr. Daschle said. This book is a good price for all the activities you get, I would recommend it.

   Super fun!
I've always loved watching my son progress through this book. We tried when he was two and he wasn't ready, but I started it over recently at 5 because I wanted him to complete the series and he finished in one day, but I could see his skill increasing throughout the book. Thanks for the pictures!

   Not worth the money
A book of drawings, "Drawing Lines" by John Baldacci, was first published in 1896. Starting with straight lines, curves and spirals, followed by a path. But the pictures are fun, but its a little gimmicky, considering you can put stickers on a white piece of paper and ask your student to follow the path. Tracing a line with your pencil can be as easy as 1-2-3. Simply put, most of the exercises can be done in a far cheaper way than purchasing this workbook. Buy older Kumon books at Amazon. com. Three stars because, well, it would be worth it if you had several students and wanted to reproduce the pages.

   Good product
My son is a writer, but he becomes frustrated and refuses to practice. But this book has fun tracing mazes that provide basic practice with pen control, holding a marker firmly, and drawing straight lines. Barrenas enjoys it enough to practice for a few minutes at a time, he said.
