   Levels of Education and Fun
This book is great. My boy is reading it. Great conversations have been spurred by the words used. It's a fun way to increase vocabulary and get him thinking about the big picture. My son has been laughing at the joke for 3 weeks. Love the book and will order more.

   Perfect
A great deal! Some of the pages weren't cut evenly. Didn't do anything to interfere.

   excellet book
An excellent historical point of view can be found in the book. It's great for 4 th and 5 th graders to see how children lived in the past.

An excellent addition to the My Name is America series.
When they were little, Jasper and his younger brother, Tom, were forced to live on the streets of London until they were able to find work as indentured servants. Tom and Jasper are separated when Jasper's master decides to go to America. Jasper takes comfort in writing in a journal that he plans to send back to his brother during the difficult journey to the New World and the dangerous first months in the New World. Jasper thinks ofPlymouth Colony as his home. This addition to the My Name is America series is a must have. A fictional hero and some real life people that sailed on the Mayflower were created by Ann Rinaldi. A young person might have seen the New World.

   A readable book.
I picked up The Journal of Jasper Jonathan Pierce A Pilgrim Boy as soon as I could because I am a huge fan of Ann Rinaldi. The book told about life on the boat, life on their new land, and meeting with the Indians, while other stories are about life on the boat. It did drag at times, but it kept my attention. It's a great way to learn. I recommend it.

   BORING!
The book was about a boy named Jasper Jonathan Pierce, an indentured servant who is looking for a better life. This book was the worst book I have ever read. This is the first historical fiction book I have read and it will be the last. This book should not be read by anyone on the Earth. It wasn't exciting and I didn't like one thing about it. The reader was disgusted.

   Great Book
I decided to read this book because I like learning about the Pilgrims. I think that Jr. High kids will like to read this book.
