The story and the pictures go perfectly together. Great nostalgia
This book is great written and a well read aloud. As a librarian, it was perfect with so many things to relate in what is really a kind of autobiography. There is also a nice interview with the author and illustrator on NPR.

Family Togetherness in a Working Class Neighborhood
The author and illustrator present a story that all children can enjoy in a setting that is still seen in picture books only very rarely.

Windows and Mirrors- kids will see themselves reflected
The story of Cute was recommended by the Reading and Writing Project at the College. In my classroom for literary diversity and teaching word choice and cultural devices, will use.

   Excellent book!
I bought this for my five-year-old granddaughter, because her father rides a motorcycle and she just loved it! They read it together and have a great time... It is a well-written, heartfelt story of a young girl bonding with her father on the motorcycle and their rides together... Lovely!

   Got she loves it
I got it yesterday, and I couldn t wait to review it yet. My daughter only loves it... She is 2 years old and scrolls the pages like no tomorrow. Of course, I am also a motorcycle driver, so that it meant a lot to me. The story is sweet, as I hoped may be that more things will happen just driving around. But that's fine. The quality of the book pages are really good, too. Thanks! Finally a book about motorcycling and father - daughter bonds.

An important book about identity, community, and family!
I bought 6 copies-one for each of my sister's families and for my parents! We grew up in the neighborhood that was described in the book and was a beautiful welcome home and a reminder of our roots. The illustrations, the snapshots of the community and the important reminder that we must always remember where we came from, were the highlights!

Lovely Story - Father and Daughter and Motorcycle
Heard talks about the book on the NPR review site. The story is sprinkled with some Spanish language that I find great for a child to think about learning a second language at school. Bought this book as a gift for my great-uncle Niece.

   Bad translation.
When writing, it should be taken into account that someone does not speakread the language, mixing Spanish and English. The translation was also very bad : if you are going to write a book with two languages and you don 't know for sure if the wording is right, then you should have someone native to this country - language to proofread. This is our children's future and we want them to learn the correct translation, more than that it is a beautiful children's book, thank you.

Adults will love this book as much as children.
This amazingly written, amazingly illustrated book is an ode to love for the family. Sweet, funny and full of love for both Isabelle and her father, Corona captures what it means to love unconditionally your life.

Brown dad and his hijita living in a changing and loving community
The author and illustrator have created a story that centers on the relationship between a father and a daughter, but also their relationship to their community. A memorable joy ride through their community connects all that is loved and lost and reveals the deep feelings and long-lasting roots shared by family members by interactions, memories, traditions and emotions. I loved this book and my 11 and 8 year old nephews enjoyed it too!
