There are links to Bible Gateway on Utmost. You can choose the version of bible you want when you get to Bible Gateway. You can click on the audio button to listen to the verse. If you like, you can even read a whole chapter. You can use that with your real book if need be. I have been reading this book for 20 years. Sometimes the readings go over my head and other times they have many points to ponder. The updated easy to understand version misses the point, so I like the classic version.

For generations of Christians, Oswald Chambers is a powerful punch. The Utmost for His Highest isn't for the casual believer. Deep contemplation is required in each daily devotional. Seek the spiritual rewards. You will find them uplifting, but they are also convicting. You will be closer to recommitment and confession after the discussion offered with each verse. I've never seen another daily devotional that had such an impact. It's ideal that the leather bound edition has writing space for personal notes.

My Utmost for His Highest is an excellent devotional book that challenges your thinking and motivates you to consider what's most important in life. The vest pocket version I purchased is leather bound and I like it. It is easy to take along because of its size. It's very durable because it's leather bound.

This was a Christmas present for me. I learned a lot from this book. I wanted to give more to my brothers. The teaching is deep and I had to read a few times to grasp the true meaning of the words. I don't think I'd get this for a new believer. I hope you will be blessed as well.

not the best calander

I like Chambers writings, but I prefer to read his books daily. The material on this calander doesn't go away. I would not give it as a gift because of the smell. The layout of the calander is difficult to use. I only give it three stars because of the writing.

print is so tiny my daughter can't read it

My adult daughter told me that she can't read it with her glasses, but that she's keeping it as a souvenir, even though she can't read it with her glasses. Her husband says the print is hard to read because he doesn't wear glass. I'm very sad. This was a waste of time from me to my girl.

I have read this in book form and now as an ebook. He shows us how to walk in faith by cutting through all the nonsense. I always have to go to God for help. The second l is missing from this copy. Hope they can fix it.
