   Nancy Drew still tasty after all these years
Bought these for my nine-year-old granddaughters who gobbled them up. I did the same when I was about 11 years old. I think we'll have to ask for a loan.

   Great gift to introduce kids to the series
I've loved these books as a kid and this is the perfect way to introduce my niece to mysteries and a strong female character now that she has graduated to chapter books, Mrs. Shelby said. I still have a boxed set of e-books, signed by the original publisher. white books my aunt gave me for my 10th birthday and I hope my niece cherishes these books as well. Although this set is just the first four books in the series, I have Christmas and birthday present sorted for a couple more years to come!

   Re-imagined covers, classic books
Now my daughter loves reading them too! Nancy Drew's books have had their fair share of makeovers, with new covers added to make them more appealing to a modern audience. Both stories still draw young minds with mysteries that keep them thinking.

My daughter loved them both. Only four books were actually printed by Hachette: The Beatles' "White Album" and "The History of the Beatles." She is also checking out the older books from the library.

   Books 1-4 are Good!
These first four Nancy Drew books were among my favorites. Nancy was smart, ambitious, independent and successful, Raymond said. I envied her aplomb, Mr. Dhaliwal said. I fell in love with the mysteries of Raymond Chandler and Charlotte Bronte. Reading mysteries improves your reading as the suspense increases your enjoyment of the story. Thanks to Nancy Drew, I've always been a fast reader.

   Beautiful Book Set
I'm sure they're not comparable to the originals, but these are great books. My daughter cannot wait to dig them out. She was inspired to read these stories after hearing about Supreme Court Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg's love life. She also told the interviewer she'd love to be an officer and a detective one day. We did receive books, but they were delivered without hassle. The photos were taken down after the posting was made public. Binding and pages are in tact, too.
