   Great Resource Book on Wildflowers
This is a must have resource book for the beginning to understand and identify wild flowers, though it is not the final chapter in identification, it will get you started and is easy to follow and categorize. The images and corresponding icons flow brilliantly for ease of identification... Fits nicely in the saddle bag or field briefcase of the Cascades... and is very durable and colorful... I carry it every time I climb into the high country of the Cascades... to the deserts of northwest... Photographer William J. Erickson [...] [...] [...] [...]

National Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Wildflowers: Western Region
I bought this as a second copy to keep in our trailer together with other Audubon guides that I also own. I like the Audubon guides more than other guides, because of the pictures instead of drawings and vinyl covers. I bought several Audubon guides from several used sources and was shocked to find a few of them that looked like they have never been used and all showed withing four days.

Flowers by color=easy to find your plant
This guide is useful and very easy to use. Blume plants are grouped by the color of the flower and within the color by the form of the flower. Good range maps and good description. I have liked more views of the entire plant, not just the flower ''. Otherwise excellent for botanizing, which I can only do full bore in our short spring and summer seasons.

Great book, Amazon should ship better to protect them
The book is great, Amazon didn 't ship it well, it came with some damage on the corner. When you receive it, examine it well.

   Fun!
I bought this to look at the different wildflowers on our property. I go out on hunting for new flowers so that I can find them and look more about them. Field guides published by the National Audubon Society are always high quality with great pictures and descriptions. The plastic cover is also a blessing so that you don 't have to worry about dirt or moisture. I regret only getting it sooner!

   Damaged Item Delivered :(
This is a good book, but I was sent a copy with a torn cover. Ordering a replacement because the cover is damaged and adds carbon emissions unnecessarily... yet, I paid the full price for a torn item. 22 and upsetting.

   My Go-To Flower Guide
Love this book's go-to for basic flower identification. I live in northwest Montana and so far I have been able to find almost everything I wanted to identify.

Very useful, informative and well organized.
This good book has a ton of small information. I like the way it's organised, the author on this particular was pretty creative. A short, in color photo of each plant and a real description of the plant and where to find it.
