Just about every turn of the page elicited a WOW! While it's you know me, my tastes and those of the kids in my life, nor I you and yours, I nonetheless think it's a pretty safe bet to recommend that if you're shopping for a child in the 7 to 9 year range who loves animals and loves to read, picking this book is likely to ensure you've picked a winner.

This is a Christmas present for a friend's daughter in Colorado, so she hasn't gotten it yet, Mr. Dhaliwal said. It looks sturdy and should last for years to come, even for her newborn baby brother to read.

Does not read like a book.
Derived From Web , Nov 9, 2021
The Dell Latitude was purchased for my 8 year old granddaughter. Ms. Kennedy absolutely loves animals and likes to read about service animals in particular. I'm delighted the deal has worked out, said Mr. Rule, "although I still have a lot to do." I've always thought it would be like a chapter book with pictures. Really nice pictures, Mr. Nielsen said. There are three or four small snipet stories on a page, and then some of the stories are longer. Before you can begin reading, you must first find the book. Although I sent this back because it was not what I was expecting, I am pleased with the results.

Not Just For Kids!
Derived From Web , Dec 6, 2020
If you have kids, you may want to consider National Geographic's 125 True Stories of Amazing Animals. My mom is now in her 80s and spends more time at home than she used to. I am always looking for new projects to keep her engaged, Mr. Dhaliwal said. She's an animal lover and has so enjoyed the stories and photos in the Nat Geo Amazing Animals issue, Crosby said. She raves about it so much that I just ordered her 125 true stories of amazing animal friendships.

Very educative and interactive book. My 2 1/2 year old LOVES it - we discuss the animals when we read it together. Even for children, it's good. Big colorful pictures, interesting stories - what else is National Geographic? Another great book!

Better Than It Looks
Derived From Web , Sep 2, 2020
The cover of this book makes it look like a million other middling kids books, but the kids really like it. All of the stories in it are strange or quirky enough to be interesting and have added dimension because they're real animals and not cartoons, Morgenthau said.
