We are doing this for a trip we get across the United States this summer. My kids are super excited to help us see the road and keep us where we are going. Many good pictures are easy to follow and easy to read. This is highly recommended. Really good paper, not thin like a magazine, it is thick paper. By God's blessing, He shall :

Poor Quality construction
Derived From Web , Aug 28, 2021
It is a great book, but very poorly bound with some kind of brittle glue. The cover came off when I opened the book for the first time and the rest of the pages began to separate. I got it for a grandson, but will not be able to give it to him. I am surprised that a quality brand such as National Geographic sells such a shoddily made product. Even if it is only ten dollars, it is not worth the price, because it is unusable. A great big disappointment.

Not worth it

Arrived with Pages falling out. Were getting an atlas that would help my kid navigate from the east coast to the mid west coast. To relate to most of what was listed, we had to make extra days and leave the high way. I was looking for things we could do or stop at 30 min or less from the highway, since we already had our destinations. If you are just beginning to plan and including your kids in the planning, this could be a good tool.

My grandson enjoyed using this on a road trip
Derived From Web , Jul 2, 2021
My 10 year old grandson kept himself amused with this book when we drove him from Indiana to Virginia. When we took another trip, though, he didn 't want to look at it again when we made another trip. I am going to take it along anyway, since we are driving through different states.

With other games we learned about the states we were traversing, enjoyed the games in the back of the book and he tracked our route constantly, announcing the next towns we should see. Great purchase!

My son, who is obsessed with maps and loves his collection of our old paper maps and atlases, was beyond excited to receive his own new brand Atlas. It was a top holiday present for him!

Love this atlas, so entertaining and fun for travel
Derived From Web , Sep 14, 2020
We bought this because we knew that we would be driving through some kind of boring states. My seven year old loves this atlas. She used this more than any other book, toy, activity we had in the car. She still looks at it all the time, all the time.
